GLō Best Western Enid OK Downtown/Convention Center Hotel

Checked in late and left early. Room was a little loud without carpet and 4 children under 9. Felt like we would disturb others just by talking. We were late getting down for breakfast, but they allowed us to grab some cereal and fruit bars. They seemed a little irritated since we arrived 5 minutes late, but thnkful we got to eat. Yes, we did receive a paper when we checked in, but thought it was 9:30, not 9:00...arrived at 9:05. Overall, the stay was perfect for the purpose of our visit.

Stayed at GLO for a week and had the best experience. Room is very clean with excellent customer service. Both receptionist and the manager were very nice and made us feel like family.

Everyone was kind and helpful. I loved the pool. The pool was a little cold, hard for some of the family members to get in, but other than that, the property and staff were great. Thank you. Darrin

I booked this hotel for business. I work in the community frequently. My husband dropped me off to work and went to check-in to the hotel. They supposedly refunded my pre-pay and made him change the reservation to his name and use his card. Both charges are on our cards and I am having to go through our credit card company to dispute this. It also messes up my tax reports because the booking is no longer in my name. We have stayed at Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn in Enid and never had this issue. I am done with Best Western. We stayed at one in Dayton, Ohio and had smoke fill the building at 1 am - were not allowed back in for 2 1/2 hours. No apology from employees that the air conditioner conduit had blown and filled the building with smoke or any kind of compensation. We also had a Best Western in Ruston, LA refuse to refund during COVID when a family memorial service was post-poned. We did go at a later date and stayed at a different hotel chain. This is the 3rd strike. I am done with this chain.
