Drury Inn & Suites Dayton North

This is our favorite place to stay while visiting family.

We have always enjoyed The Drury Inn. I must say, though that if you are booking the hotel because of the included heavy hors d’oeuvres/drink tickets and expect quality food, You might be disappointed. Everything else about the hotel is great. In my opinion, the food is subpar and includes such food as hotdogs, Mac & cheese, dry pork sliders, soup that tastes canned and salad. This would be great for kids but unacceptable for someone with a more advanced pallet. If that menu sounds good to you then all else about the hotel will not disappoint.

We enjoy being able to come in and relax, have a complimentary soda or coffee, popcorn in the afternoon, dinner in the evenings, and breakfast in the morning. The pool and hot tub are a big hit with the kids. We enjoy the large dining room to be able to sit as a family and play a game, or just visit face to face.

The kick back food was delicious. Its great especially if you have kids. The staff is always awesome when i stay. And they also allow for early check ins if possible.

Overall pretty good, other than kids running up and the hallway making noise after midnight!

Yhe only ywo problems were I could not use the jacuzzi because of to many children playing in it and the noise from the highway kept me up at night.

This location is right off of the highway. The building is very nice. Large open spaces. The indoor/outdoor pool is a huge hit with our family. The free breakfast and afternoon break (dinner time) are very helpful when traveling with family. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, some within walking distance if you are able. Scene 75 is an indoor arcade, just a mile away for the kids, it made our grandchildren extremely happy! This location is pet friendly, so there were several large dogs in the hotel. All seemed very sweet and friendly. The few staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The lady that set up the afternoon break (food area), worked very hard to make sure everything was clean and filled. The bathroom in our room was a bit cramped, being set up at an angle, it’s odd, just our thoughts on that part.

This was our first time staying at a Drury Inn - but definitely not our last. There was a soccer and baseball tournament in the area, so the place was packed with families. The staff kept the breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet fully stocked with a variety of delicious choices. The three complimentary drinks (beer, wine, cocktail) were professionally prepared by a sweet bartender. With that many families the pool was crowded - which we anticipated, but the staff continued to be patient and kind to everyone. The inside/outside pool was awesome- a little small on both sides but very nice. The rooms were clean and bed was comfy. There are many restaurant options - many within walking distance (Mexican restaurant was amazing) - along with other cute shops, gas stations, and even a Wal Mart. We realized when we got home we'd left three hanging shirts in the closet - they shipped those to us. Overall a great experience and we will definitely look for a Drury Inn on our our future travels.

Great amenities, clean and kid friendly

No snow removal parking lot was a mess, which made front lobby a mess. Called front desk from room for extra blankets, no answer. When I went down and asked they don't have extra blankets. Pool & exercise areas are extremely small for such a large hotel and kids were unsupervised running all over. There are a lot of extra tax expense added to bill beware.
