Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland Beachwood

Would give no stars if I could. It was mine and my fiancés first weekend away from kids and work in 2 years. We were really hoping to have a nice relaxing weekend. The hotel did get us champagne and strawberries but that did not make up for what we had to deal with. There was an entire hockey team of 10-12 yr olds staying. The hotel couldn't help that they were staying on the same weekend but they could have done something about their behavior, as well as the parents. These kids spent the entire weekend running and screaming through the halls. They even started pounding on my door and running off. They were ripping light covers off the walls and just being total menaces. I made multiple complaints to the front desk as well as other guests and nothing was ever done about the poor behavior. I contacted customer service for a refund because it was not fair to us to have to put up with this on our one weekend away. Customer service informed me that we were not charged for the champagne and strawberries and that would be our compensation. So at the end of it all, we paid $400 to get a weekend away from our own kids.. Just to be terrorized by 20 other kids all weekend that no one would do anything about. 0 stars, would not recommend.
