Residence Inn Marriott Easton

Room was fine for our family of 4. A little run down like the toilet paper holder kept falling off as well as a towel rack but overall, the room met our needs and was fine. Breakfast was decent and everyone was able to find something they liked. Joy was a worker who handled breakfast and she went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. The rest of the staff, however, were not helpful and did the bare minimum. We never had housekeeping come to our room once during a 4 night stay. There was an issue with the pool one morning and it was opening late. The worker who came out saw my sons and myself standing there in bathing suits and goggles in hand and she completely ignored to tell us that the pool was not opening. She was literally going to just let us stand there. Other workers were rude, got in our way, did not make eye contact while they were on their cell phones, etc. Also, someone let their dog go to the bathroom right in front of the door to go in to breakfast. We let a worker know about it and they never cleaned it up. Dog waste got tracked into the breakfast area. We did love the location. So great to have trader joes right next door and completely walkable to the entire Easton shopping area and all of the dining options.

So spacious! Perfect for a family. We swam and played basketball all evening!

Most thoughtful and efficient staff. The quality of staff was equal to a 4 star hotel. Front desk staff went out of their way to anticipate needs and ensure you were happy. Kitchen staff anticipated need of dietary restrictions of a Muslim family dining next to them and brought them non pork products. Super clean. Well maintained. Overall a great experience.

Loved our suite, very convenient having the full kitchen and separate bedrooms. Great set up for family.

House keeping was knocking loudly on the door at 10:30 am despite a do not disturb sign and would not stop until we answered the door. We get that enough at home with the kids. I did not expect it from hotel staff. Room could have been cleaner and closet was missing a door.

Room 225 the sick leak on stop. Came back to the room only to find that the leak spilled over the counter on to the floor. One of my other children’s rooms had no hot water for two days. They had children. They spoke with someone who said it would be taken care of. The evening that we checked in, the front desk man didn’t know what he was doing. Even though I had all reservations printed out for them. Took at least 45 minutes. Also was told from him that he would call me back once he figured all my rooms and location of each room. I even called Marriott reservation services and spoke with a lady who was sending all kinds of notes to the Hotel.

Was expecting an amazing breakfast. It was… ok. They didn’t have their waffle maker out for the weekend which was a huge disappointment for the kids. The rest of the food was ok. Light out in the main room and a little smaller overall than expected.

Everything was clean, the staff were great. Only issue we had was that there were repeatedly multiple baby spiders in the bathroom and in the bed. I brought this up to the staff at the front desk and they were eager so solve the problem and get the room sprayed. Overall the stay was great for a nice weekend away.

I did not like traveling from Cleveland Ohio 2 hours and could not check into my room until almost 10pm that night. I have a newborn baby and my family and I had no where to go for hours I asked for a crib/pack and play and never received it for my baby the kitchen was dirty had hair stuck to the stovetop and burnt food plus I received extra charges on my account I wasn’t aware of for $218 that I will be disputing with my bank.
