The property is in poor condition. Don't know where to start... thermostat didn't work. Remote didn't work. Shower spray couldn't be adjusted. Stayed two nights and my room wasn't cleaned!! I pay for a clean room right??? Got stuck in the elevator.. went to first floor and door didn't open, back to 5th floor more people got on and back to first floor and door didn't open, loud sounds from elevator. 3rd time finally opened. Trash and food on elevator floor that was there the whole time. There was apparently a family party and they decided to set up a large grill in the parking lot taking up 4 parking spaces and went late night . Kids running everywhere and screaming. Hotel did nothing.

Our recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Raleigh, North Carolina, turned out to be a much-needed respite after a challenging journey.
After encountering technical issues that caused us to miss most of the 200th anniversary parade in Savannah, we arrived at the hotel late in the evening feeling exhausted and frustrated.
However, our experience at the Hilton Garden Inn quickly turned our mood around.
Upon entering the hotel, we were warmly greeted by Carl at the front desk. His pleasant demeanor and engaging conversation were a breath of fresh air after our long day. Carl quickly noticed our frustration and took it upon himself to ensure our check-in process was smooth and efficient. While also giving two cold water bottles to set the pace.
We had booked adjoining rooms for our family, and Carl made sure everything was in order, providing clear instructions on wake-up calls, late check-outs, and breakfast options for the following morning.
Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing the perfect environment for a good night's sleep.
Being able to easily move between rooms allowed us to spend quality time with our grandchildren, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay.
The following morning, we were pleasantly surprised by an on-time wake-up call, as promised by Carl.
As we prepared for the day ahead, we had the opportunity to explore the hotel further and found Carl once again at the front desk, ready to assist guests with a smile.

We specifically picked this hotel for the indoor pool as this was birthday party for our children and when we checked in, we were told that the pool was not in order. We decided to stay anyway since we had already driven all this way our room smelled like weed, the ice machine machine is out of order. The back door code is out of order. Overall, this was a terrible experience.

I travel often, this was hands down the worst experience. I was super displeased, normally the name Hilton has a good reputation. We decided to stay here mainly for the indoor pool, as we were traveling with another family and for a child's birthday. The first interaction with hotel staff was mediocre. I was told that they needed a card for incidents, but I had to ask about the price of that, normally this is kindly explained when you check in and price mwntioned. We inquired about pool times and told that the pump was broken. Staff did offer to cancel the room for us. Then we were not told about the side door key pad not working. There were no carts to tote items in. We were traveling with 5 children, so that would have been handy. Parking was all full in the front and back so when walking to the side door with arms and hands full, only to read a sign that it did not work was another disappointment!! We made it to the room and it smelt horrible, patrons prior must of been smoking marijuana. We informed the front desk but there were no more adjoining rooms. The rooms were not very clean, some lamps did not work, there were no tissues or wash cloths left in the room. This is just personal preference but the toilet paper was horribly placed, you have to reach, basically get off the toilet. There are no vents in the bathroom. If you lock the bathroom door, it could still be opened. The fridge is in a cabinet thats broken, hard to open. Trash on every floor! Ice machine was broken

Below avg hotel, no parking if you come in later in the evening, asked front staff about baby crib- told me will look- this happened 3x, could have just told me they don't have any. Pool could use some cleaning. Lobby/restaurant otherwise really good, room itself was avg, was expecting a bit more from Hilton.

When checking-in nothing was disclosed to my family and I. We mainly booked this hotel since it had a pool (indoor pool) so that my kids could practice while away from their swimming coaches, but we had to find out ourselves that it was closed after reading a sign on the door of the pool house saying that it was under maintenance. This of course caused immediate frustration amongst our family.
We were also not told what times the breakfast hours were and had just missed it, then I see a $25 charge to my card after checking out only to call them to then be told that the charge was for incidentals and would be credited back to my account at some point.
It would have been best if we were told these things upfront during our initial checking-in.

Assigned room 223. We were under a flood watch and water was rushing in from the window. Went downstairs since the room phone did NOT work, to explain we needed another room. Got all of our things, (a family of 4), and moved to room 423. When arriving at 423, the beds had been slept in and cups and plates everywhere. Went back down to the front and asked for another room & if we could be compensated for the trouble by a free upgrade. She associate declined and said the best she could do was free breakfast.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, though doubles are a bit small for two people.
There was almost no food for breakfast, but there were tons of soccer kids staying there.
Felt safe and was clean enough. A bit shabby decor, but nice bedding. We had 4 people and had to make multiple trips to the front desk for pillows, towels, cups etc.

The shuttle driver was great and friendly with our kids. The front desk staff was super helpful and made us feel at home. Service overall is what stood our on our trip. Thanks!

Property was okay. Seemed like it used to be a run down property that was renovated by Hilton and made to look nicer. Biggest concern is that I booked this specific location based on an indoor pool being listed at the location. I booked this spot over other options so my kids could swim. They were very excited. But after checking in we discovered the pool was locked with a "sorry" sign for our entire stay. Also, $10 a day for parking? The parking lot was no different from any other hotel I've ever stayed at. Properties in this same area don't charge this.
