Great Smokies Inn Cherokee

Clean and comfortable stay with exceptional/friendly staff and is conveniently located for families who want to explore the mountains or just hang around town. We were only really in the room to sleep but it was more than enough room for our family of 4 for a few days.

A great stay in the mountains , 5 trips from solo, to with wife, to wife and kids, and also with dog. All great. Thank you from the guy with the wired name…

Our rooms were nice and clean. The carpet was a little dated but was clean. The staff members were friendly and polite. The location was great, its near a lot of restaurants and places for having fun with family! Most definitely will stay at this location again.

I can only say something about the whole two hours we were there. LOL. We had a family emergency and had to leave at 9:30pm. We didnt even get to sleep there. I will say that our bed was comfortable and clean. The staff was super nice. The room clean and smelled clean...big plus for us. It seemed super quiet which is also nice. We did notice that the rooms werent assigned back to back which was great also. We will book with them again in the future.

The place was great!!! The location is amazing and it’s easy to walk to shops and places to eat. The staff are not only friendly but incredibly helpful! They helped us navigate how to get to Gatlinburg since the Smoky Mountain Park was closed due to weather! The lobby is decorated beautiful and the kids loved the hot chocolate and goodie bags! We will be staying here every time we visit Cherokee!

Overall it was a good experience. However, I booked a non smoking room on Expedia, but the staff said they don’t have any non-smoking rooms available. This is not an experience I would want when I am traveling with family.

Had a wonderful time here. I’m glad that the hotel that I booked first for my family was full so when I saw this hotel right in front of Cherokee hotel which I booked 3 rooms at first, I immediately booked 2 rooms in this hotel for my own family and my brother. And our stay was amazing. Very friendly staff, clean and pleasant. They have great coffee too.Our rooms was connecting as well which is nice. This is now my go to hotel everytime we come back to Cherokee. We come here everytime we want to go fishing. which is 4-6 times a year. Love this place

Love this hotel. Stayed there twice now and I will be going back. Beautiful little hotel that is just off the beaten path, but still close to everything. Minutes from the Casino and Smokey Mountain National Park. Only 45 minutes to Gatlinburg, TN. Would recommend for family's or just a little romantic getaway.

Great little hotel! Very clean and quaint, and a very good value. My only complaint is that we requested adjoining rooms with our children (young adults mostly), and when the desk clerk asked the housekeeper if the room was clean, she couldn't be bothered to figure it out... in front of us. The kids ended up next door on the other side and we had an adjoining room with strangers. Besides that, it was a great experience. Beautiful scenery around the hotel. The hotel grounds are very cute. There are mountain shops right next to the property, but most of them seem to close by 5 or 6 pm even on the weekend. There is a river tubing outfitter/ ice cream shop across the street, and that was great because we didn't have to put our wet family in the car. (Tubing was AWESOME!). FREE coffee in the lobby is a winner too!

Stayed 1 night here on our first visit to Cherokee. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and check in was easy. This inn checked off all the boxes for a comfortable budget accommodation. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Water pressure in shower was excellent. AC worked great, keeping the room nice and cold. There was a decent size fridge, microwave, tv and a table with 2 chairs. Like typical mountain towns, everything shuts down by 9 pm. We had a nice dinner at Wize Guyz Grill a few doors down. Property was very quiet at night and felt like a safe area to be in. Seems like a good place for families...we saw a few with small children and a couple with dogs. Pool looked very clean although we did not get a chance to try it out. Property is about a 5 minute drive to Harrahs Cherokee Casino. We will definitely be back for another stay here.
