Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte-Arrowood Rd.

The beds are awful. Got no sleep for the two days I stayed and woke up sore from the horrible hard bed both days. I have never experienced this at a Hilton hotel brand. I generally stay at Hampton Inn and always love it. I had my room switched for the second day, and the bed was worse than the first bed. The pool closes earlier than most Hamptons that I stay at - 8:00 pm. This is not something I am used to, although I am from up North and frequently visited Hampton Inn and Suites just to enjoy the pool with my kids. Breakfast was a great selection but the breakfast attendant was very rude! She got smart with my partner about serving spatulas and even cursed right next to me as she cleaned the waffle maker from a small spillover that was made by another guest! I personally would say Do not stay here! Too much money to sleep terribly and be treated unkindly. I also was on a two day stay and while undressed and in the bed, I had a cleaning person open the door for NO reason without permission. Thank God I was not in the middle of anything adult like. Lastly it was not cleaned properly as u can see in the photos.

Do not stay at this property! I had my 2 young children, my husband, and MIL stay in this hotel and the first night, our truck got broken into. A window was broken and valuables stolen. When the police came, apparently this has been "happening for awhile." multiple young kids loitering around the property and even were "friends" with the staff. the kids slept in their cars and smoked weed all night. my family and I had previously stayed at this hotel last year and it was great; that is why we chose to stay here again this year. never returning, the food was decent, staff is okay but clueless, room was dirty with fritos underneath the pull-out couch. don't waste your money!! stay somewhere safe! lesson learned.

First 10 minutes killed 3 bugs. Two were beetle type bugs. The next morning killed a red black lady bug in the bedroom and huge tick on the bathroom floor. Very concerned as my kids were with me.

I enjoyed the friendly, kind, helpful staff. It was like being at home away from home with friends and family. Good breakfast, clean facility and rooms. This is my second visit to Charlotte and this Hampton Inn & Suites. I have just made them my go to when in the area.

The property has bed bugs. Our family was bitten all over.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. All of the employees were very friendly. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. My son loved the pool, and I was able to make use of the treadmill in the fitness room. I also enjoyed that the surrounding area had sidewalks so that I could go out and walk as well. We would stay here again.

The man that worked the counter was not pleasant. We are a younger couple with children and chose this place because of the pool. Me and my wife watched the man greet all of the guests that were older than us and he was offering free waters and things of that nature. He didn’t barely say two words to us when we checked in. Another person in the lobby even pointed out to him that he didn’t offer us anything and he still chose to ignore it. We got two waters from the little store in the lobby and waited 30 minutes to get him to where he could talk to us. Again offering waters and things of that nature to every customer. We paid a $49 fee at check in and I just assumed they would deduct the two waters from that. No he did not and he gave my wife an attitude and said under his breath “Well y’all didn’t say how you wanted to pay”.The pool closes at 8pm. Most hotels close their pool later. Overall disappointing. We’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it but it has changed. We will not be returning.

I appreciate the size of the room we had. Being in one room with small children can be challenging. The room was spacious enough which made it easier.
