Stayed at the Belvedere while visiting family for Christmas. Bed was comfortable. Good location and plenty of parking. Had additional living room with 2nd TV. Continental breakfast was included.

Best bed and pillows and sheets ever. i gotta upgrade my home bed after this experience.
So, the Belvedere has homeless families there, they were cool but, you know, loud with little kids up pretty late.
Breakfast was like coffee, yogurts and 4 lonely bagels. Sad. also the wifi didnt work in my room

The room was very big and had way more than I would have expected for what I paid. A nice jacuzzi tub, large bathroom, large room with a couch and the bedroom was huge, bed comfortable. For the price a great value for a family or a group. Very clean. The only downsides were the TV in the bedroom did not work, no real big deal for me since I only even put it on to check out the baseball game. The breakfast was as minimal as it gets.

The handicap accessible room was not ADA compliant. It had a standard tube installed with a few grab bars and a fold down seat added. Our disabled family members had to straddle the tube wall to be given a shower, which allowed a significant amount of water to escape on to the floor. The staff was very friendly and helped when requested. I would have given them 5 stars if the maid service would have been done at least once during our 5 day stay at this hotel.

I wanted to find a hotel I could stay in for my regular visits to this area for business. That was not to be. I arrived and was given key to room. Upon entering room, found it occupied by a family. Desk clerk only mentioned that the system had me in that room. No apology. Should have demanded a refund. But it was 1:30 in morning, I was exhausted, and most hotels were booked (hence I was staying here). Bed was lumpy and in need of replacement. Everything in room felt damp, including the sheets. Sink had beard hairs from a previous guest. Puddles of wanter on floor and on sink counter.

Perfect for an overnight stay or weekend. When we pulled up to the hotel, it was even better that I pictured from the website. I thought it was just adorable. The young lady at the desk was very sweet and efficient. Check in was smooth, nice lobby. I was pleased with the room, it was quite clean esp the bathtub and bathroom. Plenty of space, comfy bed, crisp white linens. Felt like I was in any given finer hotel chain without all the extra floors/levels and busy-ness. Plenty of places to keep your items off the floor (which was clean but a carpet in any hotel, yikes). There was a sports bar we were familiar with across the street. The little things like yummy scented bathroom amenities and the lobby having a large nicely displayed dispenser filled with water and ice and a coffee machine nearby(both around the clock) made up for the minor little things that I disliked such as the view. We looked into the back of a messy homeowner's yard which is not the hotel's fault. The breakfast itself was a small continental but nicely displayed. The only real complaint I had was that other parties on our floor seemed to slam their doors. I consulted with our door and realized they weren't slamming them, they just kind of closed with an echo and the room did not shut out that noise. I will def stay here again next time we visit our family.

This hotel was a perfect fit for us... Great value for the money! Clean, comfortable and staff were really friendly. Had all the quality of a big hotel, with the personal feeling of a small boutique hotel. I didn't know places like this still existed. They are owned by the Malozzis, who also own Villa Italia bakery, and I was smiling to see their muffins in the breakfast buffet. Looking forward to staying here on our next trip home! PS.. The location might seem a bit out of the way for folks not familiar with Schenectady, but it's plenty convenient.. Rotterdam has a lot of quaint family neighborhoods.
