Lovely get-away-- it feels like a family trip to a mountain cabin. Very friendly people

Beautiful place and scenery. Staff was incredible kind and accommodating. Away from the hustle and bustle but within 10 minutes of HOF. Would recommend for a family get together, wedding. Very reasonable.

I have not been up to the Cooperstown area since I was a small child, so making these reservations were a bit of a shot in the dark. I was immediately relieved when I pulled up the drive and saw a clean, well groomed lawn with ample parking. The building is impressive from the outside. The young gentleman at the desk was so very nice and helpful, answered any of our questions we had. The room was so spacious. Clean, airy, you name it. There's a small deck outstide of the room and the view you get with the sunrise/set is unbeatable. We were well stocked with everything that we needed, and if we needed more, they were very helpful in getting us what we need. The pool was clean, quiet and very comfortable as well. You can tell that the owners of this property care about their guests and their experiences. Thank you, August Lodge, for giving us a nice, relaxing weekend away!

Stayed here for a family visit to Cooperstown.This place is pretty cool.Country setting and very easy drive to Cooperstown.The room was very clean and roomy.Also had a nice patio with Adirondack chairs for enjoying the view.GM was very nice and accommodating about checking out a little late.Would highly recommend.
