I understand that marijuana is used for medicinal purposes… But this hotel was so blanketed in marijuana. It was horrible for my family. The pool was unusable and had a sign that said it was being cleaned, but the entire thing was black, I mean the water was black. I’ve never seen a more filthy pool in my life. Guest services was friendly and the night person as well as the morning person were kind and professional… The property is another story We stayed on the third story, the hallway smelled of marijuana. The room smelled of marijuana and even when you parked out front, it smelled of marijuana.

Front desk guy was great. Hotel was dated and rooms were tiny. Not great for a family of 5. I reserved a room with a couch and that did not happen.

My stay was just for one night, and I will not be going back. The room was clean, but I can't say the same for the rest of the property. Access from the parking lot was open to anyone. Only one elevator was working, and if you took the stairs, you ended up outside in the parking lot. The men at check-in were friendly but not helpful in any way. I chose this hotel because it had a pool. Well, the hot tub was covered in a thin layer of ice. So maybe during the winter months, the pool area should not be one of the amenities. Even though the gentleman at check-in assured me, my grandchildren and I could swim because the pool was heated. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful. But some of the breakfast items were not available/stocked. I will not be back. Sorry

Checked in a night when outside temp was 24F. In room temp is probably 50F. Thermostat not working (won turn on). Called front desk and was told nothing can be done. No technician available. No other room available. Family/kids slept in full winter clothings.

We were under the impression that we would have 2 queen beds, a sleeper sofa and a kitchenette. Our room ended up being so tiny with only 2 queen beds and a bathroom. Luckily we brought a twin size air mattress just in case, but we barely had enough room for that. I did go downstairs to ask about the room and the guy was super nice but said they didn’t have rooms like that at this hotel. I said it showed it on the Expedia website that was what I was reserving and he said that Expedia must have mis-represented them then and there was nothing he could do. Additionally the hotel was pretty bad. The carpet was so loose that’s I almost tripped in the hallway of the main floor. It is a bad tripping hazard. The sheet on one of the beds was stained and overall things were not cleaned very well. There was dried drink splatter on the wall in between the beds where the night stand is. The area around the hotel was dumpy. I would never stay here again and it’s for sure not a good place for a family of 5. Wish I had asked for a full refund cause it was so bad.

The room was excellent. The attitude of the evening clerk, on Thursday, May 18th, was a bit disappointing. The hotel was packed with kids group, there was only one elevator (one was out of order). Due to the congestion and long wait to get on the elevator,we asked how we could access the stairs. She bluntly informed us we had to take the elevator to the 2nd floor and then take the stairs. Just to clarify, we asked, there is no other way to access the stairs from the lobby? Her response was, "NO! I didn’t design the building, so there is nothing I can do about it." Okay... I am sorry she was having a bad evening, but poor representation of the hotel.

The stay started off with a very rude front desk associate. I was nothing but respectful to this individual but they continued to be rude to me. My family and I were traveling from Houston to Los Angeles via car and we chose to stay the night at this property because they had excellent reviews. Unfortunately to our dismay, we were not able to leave a good review after our stay. The towels in our room were dirty prior to use. The bedding had stains on it.

I stayed there because my husband had a medical emergency and was at a nearby hospital. The front-desk, cleaning and the breakfast bar staff were all so helpful and cheerful. The atmosphere was family-friendly and the breakfast was fresh. While eating breakfast, there was no hot water for tea and they gave me a cup of hot water quickly before the larger hot water dispenser. Staff were so kind to me and they didn’t even have to do that. It really touched me. I would like to acknowledge and appreciate all of the staff for making my stay there comfortable and pleasant as possible during a difficult time. Thank you.

The staff was very helpful. The Wi-Fi was not the greatest, but worked. The breakfast was very good, and kept the kids happy. There is a little business center right in front of the hotel that has a brewery/taproom, and a couple little places for food. The Coronado mall is a couple minutes down the road which was very nice, and the hotel is pretty much centrally located in town,
