Hilton Short Hills

Entire front lobby was closed off, guests couldn’t sit in lobby area, with no consideration for guests staying in hotel. Staff were every minute telling you that you couldn’t stay in lobby and that you had to go up to your room treating everyone like a child. Hotel was nice, shopping mall was across the street , but staff was very on your ass for every little thing.

Facilities were great, disappointed that we had to pay extra for parking. Restaurant was ok, food was average, bar tender was great and attentive. In the room, the smell from the drains was pretty bad. We had a joined door between rooms. The noise from the residents next door was horrible. Yelling, children screaming throughout the night, hairdryers at 3am, it really ruined everyones sleeping.

I first stayed at the Hilton short hills long ago when I went to NJ for their annual wine festival. However, visiting again years later, was indeed a treat. I stayed for my sisters birthday as a surprise to her. I booked the junior sweet which gave us plenty of room to unwind and a comfortable bed to rest our heads. We didn’t partake in the restaurant. However, the inside pool and hot tub area was well maintained and the temperature of both was perfect. The staff was friendly and attentive when engaged. The only slight disappointment was learning after we had walked to the locked tennis courts that the facilities were being rented by an outside vendor and we would have to contact them to use the amenity… we decided since we were dressed and ready to play to count our losses there and look for some public courts at a park in the surrounding area. Luckily we found some at Gero Park which we visited twice during our stay. In totality the Hilton Short Hills provided the perfect backdrop for a lovely weekend. If you’re on the fence ponder no longer, book it!

Great stay with family. Had everything we needed and service was great. Just wish they had a separate coffee bar/ cafe in the morning, but they did have coffee in the dining room so it was there, just a little hard to find, and would have loved a latte :)

There were kids running and screaming all over. The bed was hard and there were very limited food choices. I wouldn’t stay here again.

In new jersey for a family christening and stayed at this hotel for the second time in the past year. We love the location and the amenities , great food too !!!
