3rd time going back to this hotel as a family. If you're looking for a stay close to nature and Mt. Sunapee, this is great. Very rustic chic, design is well put together.

Lots of common spaces with clever amenities like board games, crayons, coffee table books, plus a well-maintained indoor pool and rec room with air hockey and Wii games. My 11yo son and I were amazed by all the options for after-dinner entertainment after a full day of skiing. It exceeded our expectations. The beds were also super comfy, rooms surprisingly quiet given the LARGE number of young families also staying at the hotel, and simple but chic. And the coffee was hot, always available, and good with a full array of milks or creamers to accompany. It feels like every detail was considered. I would absolutely return.

I called the property while I was on the road to inform them I was running late. I was told that there is a number to call at the front desk. I arrived an hour after the front desk closed. And called numerous times and no one answered to check me in. We had children with us and it made for a very difficult night

The room was very sparsely decorated. It was a semi unwelcome main setting. Construction. Incomplete or makeshift for instance I’ve traveled way between the wall and the two queen beds they were three pieces of flooring which were not but jointed. That is there were three plainly visible gaps in the flooring. Also there also the platforms for the mattresses or about 6 inches longer than the mattresses on both the sides and the foot of the mattress. These oversize platforms had holes cut into them at all places and appeared designed for some other purpose. The narrow trim board at the head of the platforms was placed about an inch or so away from the headboard and if anything accidentally fell into the scab it would be very difficult to retrieve. The three lightbulbs above the headboards andAnd on the table we’re fully exposed with no protection around them. They presented a danger and threat of Birnn’s underwear electric station if Strack which could happen since they were all within arms reach. The most dangerous situation involve the shower. They were no handrails, no format and no textured or nonskid tape floor. Stepping onto the web for resulted in a meeting at slipping and nearly a full in the shower, prevented only buy a firm grip on the glass door. Completing the shower and required lameAce face towel on the floor and standing right on that small surface. We have stayed in this hotel before under previous owners and found it most satisfactory. A little overpriced for the age of the building/what they offer but i guess you're paying for location. It would be nice if they offered a free continental breakfast like most Ski hotels I've stayed. Also, if you're a ski hotel then you have to let people walk around in ski boots, especially in the lobby. Having children I should be able to get them fully dressed, throw them in the car and head to the mountain. If you're concerned about the slate floor then change it of put carpet runners down. Offer more in your store. There isn't much in the area that stays open late so I suggest you stock your store with more convenient items. I had to drive a distance to get contact solution for my kid at 10 pm. L
Keep the pool open later. 9pm closure is way too early. Just a thought. Staff was friendly, room was very clean, overall i would see what other lodging options were available the next time im skiing at Sunapee.

This place is so family friendly! The Rec room had lots of great board games and comfy spots to hang out as a family. My kids loved the Game room, four great arcade games and air hockey and the pool is beautiful! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again in the future.
