Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino

We have stayed here multiple times, beautiful surroundings, great service most of time. However, they had a room full of unattended children in room next to us with no parental control, and no control from the staff that screamed through the hallways until well after 11pm. We were told “they were special guests!” Whatever that means ….i guess we aren’t special to them…will not go back…

Perfect for families with young children.

Everything was very nice! Personally my family and I would have spent more time in the pool and hot tubs if they were a little warmer.

Upon checking out, I was angered by the additional fees. The hotel I like. Very cool ambience, decor, etc appropriate for the area. But I left feeling scammed. I paid a premium on the front end for our three nights, then effectively paid for an additional night in fees ($30/ night self parking and $50/ night resort fee) I didn’t anticipate. We’re a family on a budget and it left me feeling taken advantage of. We likely won’t return because of this.

Pool was very busy and no staff to monitor the area and tidy up after many families with drink and food was a free for all. Have stayed many times with my own children and no problems. The pool was full of grass and pine needles due to kids putting snow from ground in pool. So there for not very clean. We had a security issue with our door. On return to room the room door was not closed by house keeping and able to open by any one. Call security and room checked. Luckily nothing was missing however very unerved. Strip from door removed to help remove t close not very technical and quick fix which may stay like that for next resident. We do love the location and the casino on site. The pool and hot tubs are usually out favourite part. Room is nice but now getting tired due a refurb and miss the club lounge we were given a bottle of champagne on check in and this was a lovely gesture !

If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s quiet and peaceful- this is it. We stayed for a short stay for a baby-moon and was the best decision we made! The best views and free activities included! We did yoga for our very first time with Jess and she was nothing but amazing. We also did the flume hike with Kayla and she was so kind and patient as I am 7 months pregnant. We truly enjoyed our activities with both of them!

We love coming to this place. It’s perfect for our family.

Excellent service and amenities! Had a lovely stay with our family and dog. Room was very spacious.
