Holiday Inn Express & Suites Central Omaha, an IHG Hotel

Nice clean hotel for the price. Pool was cold even though indoor-kiddo loved it though.

The power went out due to a storm so we didn’t have many amenities available, but that was fine. The location was a little dumpy (- we were hoping it was near the cobble stone streets area of Omaha.) But we drove to the Blackstone area for dinner, which ended up to be fun and affordable. The hotel had an off-putting diesel smell and made some of our family feel ill. It was fine for one night.

The city had some storm damage and the area that the hotel was in was still not fully powered without generators and cable wasn't working. No fault of their own, but they could have notified us prior to arriving and gave us the option to cancel. Having two young kids and no tv was stressful when trying to entertain before bed and early the morning. Our room was mostly clean. They were out of towels at the pool by 4 on Friday afternoon which was annoying. Breakfast options were pretty good. The staff were friendly.

Check in was great, and the young woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was decent for a two night stay, but did have some unclean areas. The breakfast options were good, but the area really congested due to poor design in such a tight space.The pool was very small, with cracks throughout, cloudy water, and an overall very aged and unmaintained look. The biggest downside wasn't the hotel itself, but rather the number of ball players parents allowing their children to run around unaccompanied by an adult. Doors slamming, kids running through halls, playing on elevators, etc. It got old very quickly. I can't say that I would stay here again if another option is nearby.

Needed a last minute hotel room for a family gathering. This worked out perfectly. Comfortable bed, very clean.

Quick stay over with family/kids. The manager (Chris) was fantastic, kids loved the pool. Clearly new updates or renovations. Very clean and comfortable room.

The rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was GREAT! The staff are friendly and very helpful. The grandkids really enjoyed the pool! There is a Walgreens right across the street, and multiple restaurants within a couple of minutes by car. We will stay here again.

The hotel was nice. But I was placed next to a busy elevator and ice machine. Neighbors next door had a child who screamed a lot. Did not sleep well during my trip.

The walls are thin and people were loud. You could hear kids yelling and people coughing from the next rooms. The breakfast was just okay. No waffles or pancakes for an option. Eggs were like plastic. I hated how the bathroom doors were these heavy fire like doors and you couldn’t leave them open. If you wanted the door to the bathroom open you had to prop it open.

Very serviceable room with 2 queen beds. Clean & mostly quiet (kids replaying in the hallway…grrrr). Very nice lobby area and very friendly front desk people. Great location to many amenities. My go-to hotel in Omaha.
