Comfort Suites University

Stayed here again even through we are local and get hit with a extra fee thats refundable..pool was cold. Hot tub was down..only reason we were staying here again was because of the pool so my husband would get in the pool with the kids. The air conditioner was loud in the room and the tub drain was broken. The guy working when we checked in seemed less than thrilled to be there and didnt talk much. If we are going to be charged almost 400 a night (with 250 of that refunded with no damages) i really would hope for better everything. Also our one key seemed to not work at all and the other one let us into all the rooms. I didnt check this but my husband misremembered our room and managed to get into a not used room so i didnt sleep well thinking about it way too much Yes i did the locks inside too i just was overthinking. Also their tvs and channels do not line up to what they say so its a endless guessing game of what youre going to get.

Was a good overnight stay for our family

Our room was super clean and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable! The room was also quiet and roomy enough for our family. There was a few spots that could use some attention, mainly in the bathroom (the door especially) but it didn't affect our stay.

There was nothing to like about this place. Sofa bed was original spring and mattress. You could move and it made loud noices. The pool was a joke. Hours posted were 6-10. In the 3 days we stayed there, it was rately open with pro ted excuses why it wasnt open. One was it was locked from the inside and not able to open. Yet pull on the door and it opened. We had grandkids, and that pool was closed more than open. The water never got hot for showers, although we did see two water heaters looking to be installed. The facility was used and abused. Worst place ever. Breakfast fro 6-10. They bouvht food, when it was gone, it was gone. By 9 there was no milk, eggs and on ly one sausage. 3 days.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful but that is where the positive aspects of this hotel end. The property is old and in some kind of industrial park, it did not feel very safe. We booked a suite as a family of 5 and the room was surface cleaned but overall the furniture and carpet were filthy and very dated. The carpet had so many stains on it that I didn’t want to take off my shoes in the room, the bathroom grout was gross, the room smelled of urine and the pullout sofa bed frame was broken with the springs popping through its ancient mattress! This is not the first time I have had this experience with the Comfort Suites brand. I definitely won’t book with this brand again.

Lovely room with plenty of space. Good breakfast and the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool.

Service was good the only thing we didn’t like was the pool was closed and my kids were looking to swim thru our stay.

Plenty of room for our family to move around. Room was well clean.

The hotel is not well taken care of hallways and doors are dirty and stained. The pool is closed due to maintenance issues and staff said it has been that way a while and no website update 2 very disappointed kids. I would not stay here again.

I’m tired of hotels that claim a pool and spa when they really don’t have one. I didn’t look into previous reviews, but it’s been at least 6 months - maybe even close to a year that their pool has been “closed for maintenance/mechanical issues”. Please remove this amenity from your listing if it’s not actually available. It’s incredibly frustrating to book a hotel for my kids to swim to show up and be told it’s closed. Be honest in your offerings. 😡 Other than that the hotel is older, and a could use some refreshing. Pet hair all over in common areas and smells like dogs 😖 Room and Beds were comfortable and clean. Though I wouldn’t stay again.
