Yellowstone Big Rock Inn

Front desk staff was available via phone calls if needed, very pleasant and friendly. She actually informed us to be cautious of a mama elk and a baby in the rear side of building and provided education and safety to us. Room was great, clean and perfect for our stay. The view of the mountains give extra bonus points as well as the ability to walk down the street to restaurants, gas station and grocery store!

I was dissatisfied with my experience at this hotel. My family and I stayed in a room with a kitchenette, but unfortunately, the coffee maker was not functioning. I approached the front desk to request a replacement, but the staff member exhibited an unpleasant attitude. The following day, I decided to check out early, assuming that the front desk attendant was handling the necessary paperwork. However, I found myself standing there without any clarification or indication of whether I was free to leave. Inquiring about the status of the arrangements, I received a simple and unenthusiastic confirmation. I can't help but wonder if this is a reflection of the general demeanor of individuals in Montana.Or maybe she was just having a bad day for two days in a row.

It would seem like a place of this price would offer a continental breakfast. Beds were great, the afternoon /evening check-in lady was wonderful, even fixed the cable on the tv. Very easy access to the north entrance. Elk family on property for the entire evening. (The only elk we saw at or near Yellowstone.)

It was a family stop for one night. Room was bigger than expected, beds were comfortable, good soundproofing allowed for a good night sleep. Hotel is very close to the park entrance. Staff was friendly and efficient.
