Front desk gentlemen made it a 5 star review. seen they didn’t offer milk to buy, he told me “we don’t have any to sell, but I got you, there’s some in the kitchen” that right there gave me much relief as it was already mid night and my 2 kids were restless already and saved me from loading them back up to go to the store to get a small amount for a bottle. 10/10!
Room smelt clean & it was a quiet stay

I checked in to our La Quinta hotel late...very very VERY late. It was not a problem with the clerk and he was a friend about it. I checked in alone, even though the reservation was for the whole family. That was also not a problem for the clerk.
Every part of this hotel was professional. especially the funky instrumental vacation music in the lobby, but I could hardly stay awake to enjoy it after what happened with the family. Soft, aferage sized pillows.

They were only a few guests at the hotel, but they put us all in the same area so we were all side-by-side across the hall and two of them had dogs which were barking and others had very loud children. It seems unnecessary to have us so close together. Wi-Fi and television didn’t work well.

La Quinta is a one of our typical locations because we know what to expect. This location was a bit of a disappointment. While it is an older building and odd shape it has been updated some time ago. We just overnighted and the price was too much for the location. The king room was clean but the mattress was older, four pillows, one was flatter than a pancake and my spouse had to use the other two to make one useable pillow. The paint in the room of contrasting colors was not well done and had several mistakes, the corners of the room, because of the room’s shape, we’re dusty and the fridge wasn’t cold. There is only a hot tub at this location(that we were told about anyways) and was adequate for our needs. Breakfast was typical hotel offering, coffee was weak and the hot water wasn’t hot for tea either. Staff was very friendly. Will say being on the top floor was nice, it was super quiet and no freeway noise. The carpet in the hallway was atrocious, especially in front of the elevator. Same thing here, it has been vacuumed well but corners and along the walls, where the vacuum doesn’t reach, had a build up of dust/cobwebs. The main floor is all tile and seemed very well attended to where we went. Probably won’t stay here again and we are in Butte often to visit family. Overpriced compared to other locations in the area, overall upkeep and amenities offered don’t make up for the cost of a room.

This hotel is nice on the inside, however, when we got to our room there was not only hair in the bathtub but also public hair. The toilet paper was not refilled. There was a small roll left. I sent my two teenage daughters to the front desk to get some more toilet paper and 2 additional towels. The two ladies working the front desk laughed at my girls and said “no one is in that room” and then went on to state “they do not make enough money to deal with children”. My daughter then stated that we were indeed in room 321. They finally got off their lazy bums and actually verified our room. Completely rude and unwilling to want to accommodate the customer. Below are pictures the hair in the bathtub.

The GM for this property puts la quinta inn's name to shame. Moreover, because i booked through expedia, this gm hides behind expedia and refused to resolve my issue. Expedia basically takes the hotels side. For this reason, I will NEVER stay at a la quinta, and I'll never book through expedia. When there are issues with booking, expedia always takes the hotel's side.
This property did not have luggage carts available for us when we arrived past midnight (all 15 other hotels we stayed during this trip had it by the lobby). My family was on a cross country roadtrip from WA to FL, and had 10 bulky/heavy items to bring to our room, in addition to a young sleeping child.
Without the luggage cart we were unable to get to our room. We had to cancel our booking to find another. It was late at night and we couldn't reach expedia. The front desk couldnt help us cancel. When we asked Expedia for help with refund, Expedia couldn't do it without hotels agreement. After much back and forth, la quinta refused to refund us for its inability to provide a means for us to get to our room. Moreover, the gm told expedia he did not want to hear about this issue again. What poor attitude. This gm is short sighted and just wanted to make a quick $$ by refusing our refund.

The hotel had some kind of a High School sports team staying in the hotel and it was loud! The kids were outside making lots of noise in the parking lot between 10:30 & 12:15 in the morning!

We were there for a swim meet along with a lot of other families. We had a break each day from 12-3 pm. And the house cleaning always showed up while we were trying to rest so we didn’t have our room cleaned one day. Please do it earlier! We were gone from 6am -12.

We reserved a double queen room. The hotel agreed and stated the room we were in is a double queen. These beds are not queens and it makes a difference with the kids. They were very accommodating trying to bring extra blankets and pillows which was appreciated.

We stayed 3 nights over thanksgiving instead of staying at family’s house and it was great!
