The experience at this hotel was quite interesting. When we got there we had booked a family suite but they didn’t have one, they “upgraded” us to 2 rooms we were told joined, they had no door to connect, so we had 3 people in one room and 3 in a completely different room. They had us on a high floor and the fire alarm went off saying to use the stairs, my husband is disabled and not able to go down stairs. We got down one flight when we found out it was a mistake, no fire. Very scary! The room was clean and the roof top pool is nice.

The Last Hotel was a surprisingly trendy hotel. The room was nicely decorated, and very modern. The staff had a family-like approach to interacting with guests.

Im a fan of boutique hotels & The Last Hotel STL did not disappoint! Gorgeous architecture, friendly staff & HUGE rooms!! The rooftop pool was amazing!! No kids at the pool after 6. Neither bars were open. My room was on the 7th floor but the street traffic sounded like it was right outside my window. The hotel is located on a busy street so there was loud traffic until about 3AM which made it hard to get rest.

We did not get the amenities we were told would be there when booking. The pool area did not have a bar that was advertised. The hotel did not have a complimentary breakfast that was advertised. The bed, come to find out, was broken in the middle and had zero support in a certain area and we had to scoot down the bed to find the right angle to lay our butts in the sunken area. By the time I realized it was broken it was late at night and I did not want to wake everyone up to fix the situation. The hotel was beautifully done and clean which was nice. I did speak to someone about the lack of advertised amenities and they said it was due to issues with the previous management company. The main issue i had was that we specifically picked your hotel for those amenities and there was nothing done to let me know the situation had changed. I would not have stayed in the hotel if i had known and paid the price without those. I had budgeted in the breakfast as part of the price and ended up having to go to other places to eat. This may seem small... but it was just not something I had accounted for in my budget. Staff was friendly and the only thing that was missing was when checking in the staff did not notify us of any pool rules, my kids couldn't swim after 7 pm, no bar service, and no information was given about that change in food availability. With that said, your hotel is beautiful and has true potential. The security and helpers were amazing and helpful!!

There was no microwave. At about 4 in the am we had to switch rooms cause the air was not working. The pool was only 3ft and full of kids after the hours stated on door. The worker in the pool area Roy was awesome and needs a raise for sitting in the heat in pants all day. Room was nice and confy bed.

The family room we booked was not clean and we were informed the cleaning crew wasn’t available the day of check in. So we got moved to a single with a pullout. Check in desk was moody and uninformative. We were informed we could take the room they had available or go to another hotel. We had to ask another guest how to get the elevator to work. There was a key card access we were unaware of.

You will need to pay 45 dollars a day to park at this hotel or 30 dollars the the parking lot across the street.
The building is cool but the room..... We got a family room. There is just a glass door to the shower and no privacy at all. With 4 kids ranging in age from 8-16 this is a problem. The door to the toilet is also very hard to open and close.
We had to flip the sheets over on the beds because there was no sheet between the comforter and you. The flat sheet was just on top. I had a long day and didn't have time to ask for more sheets so we fixed the problem ourselves. Who sleeps with a naked comforter against their skin? I might review this after the night but so far I'm not impressed.

Where to start. First the restaurant and bars are closed due to changing owners. Came in one night and the elevator and lobby smelled like weed. The first night there was gunfire twice (there is a club around the corner). Police and sirens everywhere. Was terrified to go out after dark. Could hear people arguing outside at 4am. They don’t clean the rooms daily nor tell you that they don’t. No pool towels. Had a beverage cooler that was empty with no water and didn’t want to go out at night (we had kids). Would NEVER go here again.

Pretty disappointed in the hotel. All the restaurants/bar in hotel was closed . Pool closed at 7pm . And had a shooting outside our window at 2:30 in morning. We were on 2nd floor and very scary being woke up to the shooting and making your kids scared to death and no sleep rest of morning.
