Residence Inn Marriott Joplin

The staff was very friendly and the room was so clean. Definitely great to have the double suite for a family trip. The pool was very well maintained.

We were traveling to Texas on our way to a wedding and joplin was a half way point - the hotel was a nice clean stay for the family.

Disappointed in the property as well as the price of the room . Traveling to see family . Did not need suite , only room available at the time of last minute booking . Staff was not attentive , charged extra to pay for security in the parking lot . Will not stay at this property in the future .

Great to have a kitchen since we had a baby. Breakfast was great.

A home away from home! Very comfortable environment with great amenities and friendly, helpful staff. Great complimentary breakfast, too. Wonderful space for our toddler.

Residence inn Joplin Mo Room 129. My wife and I experienced numerous moths (I believe they were pantry moths) killing approximately 6 of them before we left. Prior to our leaving Sunday morning, we noticed several more fling around or alighting on the walls and fixtures. I suspect there is an infestation somewhere in or around this room. The carpet in the “living room” was noted to be dirty and smelled as if some pet may have soiled or otherwise stained the carpet. I do not think this was reflective of the everyday cleaning crew but rather indicative of allowing animals and certain clientele stay without proper care of their pets. I need to lie down and exercise my back after traveling and that is the reason I noted this particular item. A couple of other items we noted about the property was the non-functioning entry access point on the east side ( you could exit but not return through the East-Southeast entry point). We subsequently did not utilize the east side parking which would’ve enabled the closest entry to our room. I understand from the note on the east entry door that parts were on order to repair said door. While this had a minor impact on our stay the inoperative hot tub did not. We have stayed in this property while visiting family over the last 15-20 years and have noticed a decline in the property maintenance that I believe should be addressed if you intend to keep attracting clientele.
