Overall, nice place. All staff were excellent excellent but lots of drinking by guest and dogs barking. Continued noise from children slamming doors late at night. We should have requested another room!

Easy access on and off of interstate. Couldn’t hear the traffic from our room. Walking distance to several restaurants. Room was extremely clean with an abundance of pillows and bath towels. WiFi free. Cable television with several channels for children. All staff treated us courtesy and kindness. Cookies in dining area from 8-9 pm. Pool clean. Breakfast bar 6-9 am. Planning to stay again and trying to link up with other hotels in their chain of hotels.

The room was clean and adequate with all of the amenities mentioned. The issue came when we were put in a pool side room. We were not aware the pool stays open until 10-11pm so there were a ton of screaming kids right outside the door which ultimately ruined our night and made it impossible to sleep. If you’re traveling with kids looking for pool fun this would be a great stop, if you want sleep DONT.

Just looking for an overnighter with my grandson (5 yo) before we go camping.
This looks like a cool place to stay normally! The pool inside the courtyard looked great and kids were swimming!
The breakfast area and food itself was a nice spread! I missed the pool table on floor 2, but I could hear it. Rooms were really cold and everyone at the desk was nice!
After a long day of driving and sweating in this heat wave- I just wanted to shower… inside the shower was a bunch of long hair, all over the wall, which I didn't see until I got in. Last thing I want to see is someone else’s hair all over. If hair was in the shower, where else would it be.
Of course thats all I thought about while I was there. (Cleanliness)
There were 3 Disney channels which I was excited about for my grandson, but none of them worked. (Signal lost)
I called down to the desk but there was no pick up. Later, when I tried again, the gal who picked up (was very nice) didn't know how to fix it. She did offer to come look at it, but at that point we were both in bed and in pj’s.
Floor covering feels not secure, esp by the bathroom. It buckled as you walked on it.
A clean bathroom would have earned this stay 4 stars out of 5.

We stay at this hotel quite often. We always have a great stay. The pool is amazing (our kids love it) and the breakfast is swell as well. We will be back again!

Always a wonderful for my wife and me at Auburn Place. We travel from Alabama to Kansas four times a year and always stay at Auburn Place. Great family atmosphere, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast, nice rooms—a great value.

Don't stay if you need internet while you are there.
Good place to keep the kids occupied with the pool. There is highway noise, but otherwise it wasn't too bad. I did not hear the people above or around me. Only those outside since weather-stripping doors to seal them (as well as making sure they are hung properly) is no longer a thing with American hotels.
If you have registration or basic room issues, the staff is excellent. LeighAnn went above and beyond to help us with an unexpected delay to leaving. (Sidewall got punched out on the tire.)
My only other issue was the internet, and nothing was done to fix that. The network for the hotel is set up wrong, the access point serving my location was not connected to the rest of the network, and the advertised ethernet connection does not exist. There is a jack but it isn't wired to anything at all.
With access, I could have fixed it. With instruction, staff could not. All of this is on the property owner. It isn't a provider issue (althought the Spectrum connection is too slow for the amount of rooms they have.) This is the internal networking being setup wrong.
I will not stay again, because I require working internet. If that is not mandatory for you, then Auburn Place should be a great place for you.

Bathroom was filthy. Hair in the shower and on the toilet. Bathtub appeared to have never been cleaned. My child was afraid to step foot in it. The comforter on the bed had a lot of black fuzzies.
