Home2 Suites by Hilton Batesville

Great place for our family to stop overnight on our road trip. Hotel was clean and well equipped. Room was spacious. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful.

The front desk attendant must have been new, as in it had to have been her tiers day because she was horrible. She couldn’t assist nor explain the digital keycard app and never gave me access digitally. What the point of having the app if I can’t use it for what it’s for. She was rude and kept repeating that she was the only staff on-site. Like, you’re the only one here all day, all night??? That seems odd. I will never stay here again and I will make sure my friends and family avoid this location as well. I’m Canceling my hiltons honors app because it’s stupid and unhelpful.

The room was dirty. We removed the sofa seat to let the bed out and there was a pile of white dog hair on top of the sofa bed. We needed to open the curtain that separates the room there was dog hair and dirt in this also. When walking around on the carpet, everyone’s socks were covered in dog hair. My younger kid has really bad allergies, I had to take him to the pediatrician when we got back home to get him clear to return back to school. The area around the toilet was so dirty, you can see where it was partially cleaned because of the dirt around the side of the toilet. I hope this property gets the cleanliness which is so important together. This was our last stay at this property, we will try other properties around the city when we come back next month.

We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel and are looking into staying at more Home2 locations during tournaments. The receptionists were very nice and accommodating, they did not seem bothered by our big group, instead they were very hospitable. We had our girls soccer team there, and both the kids and adults were all able to bbq, hang out, and have fun like we really were at home.

Everything was wonderful, service was great. The room was clean and I slept like a baby. I would recommend Home 2, to everyone that want a home away from home.
