The price was great and my kid loved the pool. The check in staff were very helpful. Breakfast looked good, but most of the hot food was actually cold and some of the coffee syrups were empty. Overall, it was a good experience.

We were extremely disappointed in our stay here. I chose this hotel because it had a pool and because I have found Americinns to be consistently clean and well maintained wherever we go. This location was neither! First, the pool was closed. Imagine the disappointment to the kids, who had been looking forward to this winter getaway with a pool. This was NOT communicated ahead of time. and there was NO discount or compensation for this disappointment. It I had wanted a hotel without a pool, that's what I would have booked! There was no one at the front desk when we checked in, and when the employee did finally show up, the attitude was, "too bad. Better luck next time." The room was dirty, the carpet was in deplorable condition, even just hanging loose in several areas. We were disappointed in our stay and will NOT be coming back!

Breakfast was okay. Stayed three days for a family event in the area. Everthing at the hotel seems a little worn and this became more noticeable the longer you stayed. This place would be fine if you pulling off the road and staying one night. There were a lot of dogs there, so if you are traveling with your pet that would be a benefit.

Overall, the space of the room was really nice and worked great for our family. I could see that the place did try to keep up with renovations... we were grateful to have this option over the Super 8, and with the other surrounding hotels in St. Cloud being so expensive this worked well. Unfortunately we had some other guests in the lobby that were loud well past 10pm on to midnight or so and could be heard really clearly in our room that was one of the ones overlooking the lobby. I wish the staff would have enforced quiet time after 10pm. The walls looked dirty. I couldn't tell if it was truly dirty, or just the way that the walls were painted. All in all, I guess we got what we paid for.

Receptionist seemed friendly, but was not too helpful with finding us a room on the 1st floor - said that the system assigned us 2nd floor room and that was that - do all hotels treat all hotels.com customers like a red headed step child? He also typed in my credit card for incidentals on the pc instead of using chip reader - not PCIDSS compliant! Besides all of that, room was decent, but bring your own pillow as theirs are like bricks!

We checked in and went to our room. We booked a double queen room. One of the beds had black stuff under the covers and was very dirty. The floor was wet and the room smelled musty/ wet. Went to front desk with the dirty bed issue and they offered to change our room. Only to put us in a king room. Only problem is we had three people. They said they would bring a roll away bed but never did. We had to go ask for one that night. Only problem is the mattress was so old and worn that my child fell through the springs and it was not even comfortable. The walls were very dirty and stained. For the price i paid this hotel really needs to be cleaned up. I will not stay here again.

This hotel did not meet our expectations. The check in was smooth and the attendant was friendly. He mentioned the hot tun and pool area was open until midnight. We appreciated that because we were going to dinner and visiting with family. When we were able to use the hot tub it was colder than the pool. We scratched that and went to the room as we had a tub. The jets didn’t function right so that was also a scratch. The walls around the in room tub had pictures pulled down and holes. When we turned back the bed the sheets looked like they had been slept in and were full of stains and long hairs. We ended up requesting the sheets be changed. Had it not been so late would have been a good time to go… The window in the room was off the track and did not lock. The handle for the tub faucet fell off when I turned it on. The breakfast did have done cereal and breads. The butters were all opened and melted in a bowl. The halls are half painted and there are paint drippings all over. I can’t believe this is an AmericInn. The tub was also dirty which is in my photos
