Ramada by Wyndham Minneapolis Golden Valley

the "Manager" checking me in was RUDE. He was not only RUDE to me but the elderly men checking in before me. He had NO patients with them at all and was VERY RUDE to me as well. As someone who stays at hotels very frequent for work and personal and as a Indepenent Travel advisor I would NEVER stay or send someone to this hotel because of the RUDENESS of the "manager" and the bed felt like a cement slab and the pillows were so tiny I was wondering if they were for children or throw pillows.

Very quiet. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking close to the entrances. Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet. Close to family we were visiting. Easy access to the interstate.

I spend 50-75 nights/year in hotels. In my opinion it’s the little things that make the big differences. The Ramada Inn in Apple Valley, Minnesota, had perhaps the best customer service I have experienced in my decades of international travel. To start and end my stay, we had extremely professional, warm, engaging and delightful interactions with Melky, an intelligent, energetic, customer-centered front office magician. We felt as if we were his only customer, in a hotel that was completely full with guests. He is a precious gem and he literally made our stay first rate and guest class! You can tell that everyone working at this hotel Hera doing extremely well! That is very important for a company to be successful. The kitchen staff, cleaning staff, night time staff, were all equally professional, Courteous, and incredibly helpful. Free happy hour drinks were the frosting on the cake. A hearty healthy breakfast for everyone was especially generous. And the total bill $110–are you kidding me. We will stay here whenever we’re in the area! It was such a wonderful experience.
