Hotel Rapids

My husband and I stayed with our toddler for a little family vacation. We all loved it! Our toddler just loved walking around the room, small but cozy and just enough room for us! The location was very modern, unique, and all the staff were fantastic! The $10 breakfast vouchers were an absolute steal! There was a great variety for crepes and yogurt bowls, amazing coffee, and great adult drinks for the evening. Our server for breakfast even remembered our coffee orders from the morning before as well as our toddler’s name! We loved, loved, loved it! My husband and I want to come back in the spring for an anniversary trip!

Nicely renovated, clean, friendly service, good breakfast. Only negatives were Bed was way too soft and parking was a bit disorganized. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to friends & family.

We enjoyed our stay visiting family. They found a way to put everything needed into a remodeled studio. Vouchers for breakfast were great.

The crepes and coffee were amazing for breakfast and the outside patio with the gas fire pits made for a perfect evening hanging out with family. Loved the suite that we stayed in!

I was in Grand Rapids, MN with my 4 year old granddaughter for a family birthday party. We arrived to the hotel around 8pm. It was raining. I had to run out to my car to get everything (always a lot with a toddler) and it was sooo nice that I trusted the employee (Breanna?) to watch my granddaughter while I ran out REAL QUICK. I loved that it was a small front desk area. There were only a couple of things that were so-so... 1. It smelled yucky. 2. The windows need to be a little more sound-proof. The location is on a busy road and right at a stop light. My granddaughter slept well throughout the night and that's all that really mattered. I loved the restaurant. The crepes were delicious. I ABSOLUTELY loved the $10 certificates for breakfast. I loved that it was a real menu and not continental breakfast. I was very aware of the sustainability/environmental efforts and greatly appreciate them. For this reason I will go back.

It's not often you can find such a nice big hotel room while traveling with a large family. I was a bit nervous when I booked because it was so cheap but this hotel is wonderful! It was clean and spacious and had beds for everyone. We would stay again!
