The hotel was clean and staff was pleasant. I was not impressed with customer service as I was stuck in the elevator for over a half hour. I tried using the emergency phone, but it was completely dead. Due to not having cell service in the steel box, I was only able to communicate to friends staying in the hotel through a messenger app using the hotels wifi. Hotel staff first told my friends that it was broken likely due to some kids playing on it. They came to the door and let us know that maintenance was on the way and would bebthere soon. They arrived roughly 20 min later. After hearing grunting and clinging sounds of screw drivers, the elevator decided to take me and my wife to the 2nd floor where we quickly got off when the doors opened. Ultimately, the issue wasn't fixed and we were lucky that the door opened on its own. Needless to say we used the stairs for the remainder of our stay. What makes this issue even worst is that we recieved our full bill under the door the next morning and received no follow up and no one checked in on us. The next morming I ate breakfast around 7:00am in the lobby waiting to see someone at the front desks to connect about the HUGE inconvenience, but no one was there. I did notice the out of order sign on the elevator that was never fixed. I feel that the hotel could have done MUCH BETTER, and could have made this issue right, but they didnt. Likely the last time Ill stay at any of these hotels.

Front desk was very welcoming, friendly, smiling, and helpful. I was VERY disappointed in breakfast this was a very important part of our stay. We entered the dining area 9:13 breakfast was served until 10. No waffle, mix, no bacon, gross looking sausage, bottom of the barrel scrambled eggs, no muffins. It took us about 15 minutes to find someone by then they said it was too late to refill items because it’s closing at 10. Mind you we were not the only ones to come at this time. Families of six and more were still arriving! Now at about 940 they did actually bring some waffle mix out! Then… no towels in pool area!! Come on people the hotel is FULL of kids. Let’s get it together.

My husband and two little ones had to get away for a week. So we booked here. I have no complaints. All was well and would book again. It was a relaxing and comfortable stay. My babies loved the pool and Jacuzzi plus the fress breakfast. They were able to have their favorite breakfast thing in the whole world...hot waffles each morning lol So our stay was pretty decent. The whole place was very clean and the staff were very professional and friendly. The one thing I would say is our roo was not as cleaned as I would have liked. The ladies their that clean those room, God bless them. They seem like they work really hard to get the job done and I know they're extremely busy cleaning people in an out the rooms. Our room however, it was I'd say maybe a rush job. Whenever we stay at a hotel, I bring a couple of cleaning supplies and rewipe sanitize and clean things down. So in doing my initial sanitiizing frenzy wipe down ....I found a lot of dust on the bottom cabinets where you can store your things. I also, well my husband found a very old dusty lifestyle condom under our microwave and that space was also dusty from not being cleaned in a while. I'm not sure how often they clean the top blanket/comforter but It was definitely suspect. We didn't sleep under it. Other then that our hotel stay was enjoyable and would book again. :)

All was well minus the 5 girls hogging the hot tub blaring obcene music/screaming and cussing around a young child. Staff was nice and everything was pretty clean except room was dusty on cabinets and coffee maker, and microwave.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Grand Blanc 9/28-9/30 while my family and I attended the Renaissance Faire in Holly. Saturday morning when we woke up my husband found a bed bug on the ceiling over our bed. We immediately packed up and checked out, bringing the bug with us (contained) to the front desk. The manager called me a few days later stating that they can't refund the rooms (I didn't ask but it was offered by the front desk clerk when we checked out) but he can give me a 30% off certificate for our next stay. He said they had the room inspected and there was no infestation which is mildly relieving but still, it came from somewhere whether it was that room or an adjacent room. I spent the rest of the weekend stressing about bringing something home and quarantining all of our belongings in the garage while I washed everything one load at a time. Aside from that, the rest of the hotel was okay. Breakfast area was clean, food was decent. Room was decent, though our shower had hair and dried soap in it. There was a random dread/lock of hair in one of the chairs in the pool area. Hotel was quiet for the most part. Beds were pretty comfortable. All in all, I don't think I'll be staying here again.

We stay at Comfort Inn most every time we travel. This was a good location and a decent place to stay. Overall, things were clean, except the carpets in the room, bed was comfortable, shower etc. was good so no complaints there. Kids running the tiles floors in the hall area and lobby without drying...so wet floors (lots of kids in the pool) so you had to be careful when walking. Again, much better than many of the Comfort Inn's that we have stayed at but even considering this location and surrounding prices...VERY expensive and even though we'd consider staying here again...almost $200 for the night was not worth it.

We stayed two nights and when we were packing up to leave i was checking the floors around the bed to make sure my kids hadnt left anything. I found handfuls of chips beside the bed under the bedskirt. So gross! We didnt eat any chips while we were there nore did we purchase any chips. The rooms were obviously not cleaned well, makes me wonder if the sheets and towels were actually washed

Terrible…Got NO Sleep!!! We had a room on third floor which was a lovely room. The trouble was all the noise which woke us up at 11:00 pm on Friday, October 14th. There were people banging on doors, using very loud voices, and kids running down the hallway. We called the front desk to complain at 11:15pm and were told by the front desk girl she was busy checking people in and there was no one to attend to our complaint. At 12:00 the noise was just as bad if not louder. Again we called the front desk to complain. Not sure if anyone ever came up to check out our complaint. At 2:10 am again the noise was terrible and we gave up on calling to complain because it was obvious NOTHING was going to be done. When we checked out the next morning we shared our concern with the girl on the front desk and she apologized. We did not get any sleep!!! Your hotel is lovely and clean BUT you need to address the girl that was on the desk this night which was Friday, October 14th.

Went to visit family. Hotel was in the perfect location. Very comfortable with a very frieldly staff. Stayed here before and will stay here again.
