Nantucket Inn

The lobby was pretty, and the shuttle service was appreciated, but the service wasn’t the friendliest. Note to families: there were some strange rules about swimming (they wouldn’t let’s kids under 10 swim beyond 3ft deep) and they wouldn’t let kids in the jacuzzi even with an adult. Our children are on swim teams so this was a bummer. On a positive note, the pool shower/ locker room were convenient after checkout and time at the beach. The coffee shop onsite was convenient and fresh, but $6 for a plain coffee seemed overpriced even for on-island dining as did a $19 glass of white wine. The rooms were clean, but it felt more like an airport motel than a hotel. I get that pilots are coming and going and this is probably a great option for them since there is nothing else that close by. For $750/night, I would expect more, but ACK is $$$ and it was a holiday week.
