I've stayed here several times. I visit the west side of the river several times a year and this hotel is conveniently located to everything in West BR. It also offers easy access to the bridge to get into the city. Check ahead for the traffic though, there is an alternate bridge if the interstate bridge is backed up. The hotel is very clean and well kept. My kids love the pool. The staff is amazing and remembers us when we come back to stay. There's coffee in the lobby at almost any hour of the day - I've come down late at night and it was still freshly made. Lots of breakfast options. I have picky eaters and there is something that each of them will eat. We'll continue to stay here, we really enjoy their hospitality.

Our stay was comfortable and met our needs while we were there attending different events with family. Would stay there again.

Clean and safe. Consistent Hampton Inn experience, which is always a good value for money. A great stop for individuals or families while traveling.

We stayed at this hotel twice in one week for our road trip to Florida and back. The location was a good stopping point for the family and had lots of places to eat around it. However, our air conditioner was questionable. It never felt "cool" enough to escape the heat. The bathroom and room smelled like an old taqueria. The desk lamp bulb and nightstand bulb were burned out. All of which could have been overlooked if the continental breakfast was okay...but it was the worst I experienced. Not my kids, nor the adults enjoyed the breakfast. Just terrible! Ick! We left and got breakfast somewhere else.

The room I was promised was 2 queens with a rollaway offered free. I was told that “3rd party” promise anything to get you to book. I looked at several others that offered pull out couches or the rollaways had a charge so I don’t believe that was the case by “3rd parties “ more like bait and switch at hotel level. There is a pool “ bahaha” it’s tiny!! As I was traveling with preteens they wanted to use it and did but it really can safely have 5 at most in it . The AC on the second day of our Mother’s Day weekend had the AC go out so it was uncomfortable at night . It felt like the thermostat was set at 65 in the room but we couldn’t get any colder than 75. The restroom was dirty upon arrival ( there was “something “ on the walls of shower and above toilet paper). We ended up with a king bed and a pull out couch for the preteens, we worked with what we had but this will not be our place to stay in the future visiting family in Baton Rouge.
