My family of four enjoyed our one-night stay. The service and cleanliness were both excellent.

This was one of the most amazing hotels to stay in! I appreciated the vintage look and the amazing restaurant on the first floor. I send my love and thank you's to the staff, restaurant workers (and the awesome chef/s), and the baristas/front desk who were patient with anything I needed. It's been my practice to respect the spaces you travel through and this space, as much as the city, will only get respect and love from me! Thank you once more and I hope to bring my family here one day.

There was convenient paid parking across the street with in-and-out privileges, the hotel's restaurant is great and worth a visit. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. Our room looked nothing like the photo but it was clean and comfortable. The walls are on the thin side so the noises from someone walking with heels at 3am upstairs could be heard, as could the conversations of family in the room next to us. Doors to the individual rooms were also close to each other so it was awkward running into guests in the neighboring room after hearing them all day and night. Those things aside we were walking distance to a lot of attractions and very close to great places to eat and shop. The hotel was also reasonably priced so I'd still recommend it but I'd stay in a different room.

The property was well kept & had a unique charm. I only gave it 3 stars because that place is haunted. I woke up every single night I was there to the sound of someone walking in my room. I felt something tapping my leg & freaked out because my fiancé was on the other side of the bed & wasn’t close enough to be tapping my leg. I’ve never had trouble sleeping, always sleep like a baby. I slept maybe 4 hours each night because of the noises & the eerie feeling of a presence. Woke up 10 times per night. I’ve never in my life believed in this stuff, now I know there are spirits, ghosts, whatever you want to call them. & they are for sure at this hotel! I know sone people like spooky stuff but I do not. Don’t even watch scary movies. So I wish I knew about the fact that this hotel is haunted before I stayed. I was in room 403

I picked Old 77 based off the decor I saw online. Our room was on the 2nd floor. The carpet has stains all over it: dark stains, bleach stains. Our room was great ! Very clean! Housekeeping does not show up until the 3rd, but are accommodating if you need something prior to the 3rd day. We had VIP perks including a $20 voucher for the café, but were not made aware of the perk when we checked in. Staff was friendly and professional. We enjoyed the in house restaurant. There is a $12.50/ day charge for internet and gym use. Staff was very kid friendly towards my child. I would definitely stay again @ Old 77.

A fun quirky hotel close to the French quarter and Filmore venue! Tucked away enough from the loud party streets. There has been reviews on the hotel being haunted... I will say we heard children laughing and playing outside of the elevator and there were no children around... Other then that we didn't experience anything unpleasant!

This hotel has so much charm, it is however maybe not for a family, the rooms are geared towards couples or adults. The building is old, but the decor is neat. Check in was a bit of a hassle (room wasn’t ready), We also never received our food and beverage credits, they acted like they had no idea. Location is great, great coffee, shops, and restaurants near by and the walk to bourbon and jackson square was so easy

For starters, it was very unique.. and different. If your going for the “old New Orleans” this would be a great hotel for you. I wouldn’t say it’s family friendly.. there were straps on the headboard of the bed for “you know”. The bed and the room was small. I did ask for a window room and I did indeed get a window but when you opened the window there was a brick wall.. so no views. The hallway of the hotel was very weird.. almost like a maze and everything did just seem cramped.. also the elevator was slow and old.. & small.. anyways, I don’t think it was worth the price we paid but the bed was comfy and the shower pressure was amazing.
It was a different experience, not regrettable but I just wouldn’t stay again. Also, don’t forget parking is not included. So you will have to pay for parking across the street in a garage that is 30 dollars a night!

Extremely pleased with my stay at Old 77. My quiet room was neatly tucked away in a first floor corner, with quick access to the lobby. The room was cozy, accommodating and the shower was amazing! The hostesses were helpful and gracious. Showcasing local artists' work gave much eclecticism to the warm brick halls. - This place is within 20 minutes walking distance of The French Quarter and Jackson Square . The acceptance of pets is a huge step in hospitality. Old 77 treats them like family. ! A must stay.
