Hampton Inn & Suites Jennings

I often stay at Hampton Inn because I am usually assured a clean room and courteous service. I arrived to a "lived-in" moderately unkempt accommodation similar to those costing half as much. But what was disappointing the most was the afternoon staff on duty that were so rude. Once I arrived, there was no one there at the front desk, but i could hear children back in the back. About 3 minutes later one front desk worker came out and treated me as if I had inconvenienced her and interrupted her day. She was rude and unfriendly, but I did manage to get access card to my room. The hallways, elevator and the entire surrounding had a feeling of a moderately unkempt hotel. Think half the price. Later the other attendant working the shift acted as if I was stupid and treated me very condescendingly when asking me to help me log-on to the wifi. I feel like I was paying to be punished. Maybe they just assumed all of their customers must be masochists or at least with me they were. The funny thing was that they were not busy the entire time I was there. After this experience. I cancelled my upcoming reservations with all the remainder of my Hampton Inn accommodations. I feel this is an upper management problem - not just with this local hotel because I never experienced anything like this at a Hampton Inn before. Later I stayed at the Best Western Plus in San Antonio and was treated with dignity and respect. Now Best Western Plus hotels are my new favorite hotels to stay.
