Hilton Garden Inn Covington

This location waa a Amazing experience, me and my fiance like to get a room on our days off to get alone tomw from rje kids! This location met all of our needs ,great pool, hot tub and the restaurant 😋 is definitely a 10 for food but 3 for service being we were rushed 15 minutes before closing and told that we could not get seconds with out us asking..

I got to the hotel late (11pm), the staff were nice and courteous. I was hoping to sleep in at least to 11am since the check out is at 12. I woke up early around 4 am because of the jet lag then went back to sleep around 8 am the minute I snoozed, someone was knocking the door so hard, I didn’t respond I thought it might be a mistake, then the person says “ housekeeping” so I went out and asked what’s needed, she goes : “ oh just checking for the people who are checking out today if they left or still here?” I replied: “ isn’t checking out at 12pm?” She goes: yes. So if it is at 12, couldn’t you go to the front desk to check with them who checked out? How about to wait until 12 and check? I have a toddler so getting even 10 minutes extra sleep helps. For me to pay $150 to wake me up at 9 am is the worst customer service. People don’t book hotels to be bothered. Even to use the “ don’t disturb” sign should be for people who stay longer days or stay after the check out so I won’t need to do that. I conveyed my frustration to the front desk that day, they said : “ we are sorry you had to deal with that.” I appreciate the sympathy but I wasted my time and money choosing this hotel the minimum you can do is pay me back half that cost! So disappointed especially Hilton is one of my favorite hotels!

It was kinda hard to find where to turn to get to the hotel but not that bad. Even the pizza delivery guy had to call and find out were we were at. Service at check in was great. Room was very nice had a huge carpet stain in front of the coffee maker and something splattered on the walk next to the desk other than the kid jumping from the bed in the room above us UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT everything else was great.

I reserved 2 rooms on this date and was very impressed with the comforts, cleanliness, and service. Will definitely stay there again when I am in that area and will recommend it to my friends and family.

overnight night stay. My family and I were in disbelief when we entered our room. We understand things can get worn over time. The lobby was worn but maintained, the rooms are just worn and unkept. Badly stained carpet, chipped and dingy walls. The “new beds” are thin beds wrapped in plastic. The only plus was the friendly of the staff. Unlike other reviews, I’ve read this is honest and not apart of a promotion.
