Aloft Newport On The Levee

We stayed here for a little overnight trip to watch the Reds play, it’s in the absolute perfect location for families. We took the ferry to the game, which was about 5 mins from the hotel. The next day we walked across the street to get lunch at Hofbrauhaus and then walked over to the aquarium. The hotel is beautiful, nice little pool area and we loved the floor to ceiling windows in our room. Super comfy beds too!

The property was designed well and looked cool,but actually left a lot to be desired. For the price we paid and the look of the hotel you expect way more. There was 1 person checking people in,but that wasn’t the bad part,the bad part was the person wasn’t only checking folks in,she was also ringing purchases from the “snack area” taking orders for the “breakfast window” and she was the bartender. After getting to our room ,we realized there were no towels in our room. Called the front desk to request some and was told we had to go down and get them. You could hear other guest walking around in the room above us,and bathroom doors slamming (barn style slide doors) sounds different from regular doors when it slides into the wall. And hear people/kids running down the hall and talking like they’re inside the room. We stayed for the purpose of walking to the ballpark which was perfect,but honestly was not impressed with the hotel itself. Dont plan on staying again,especially with the amount we paid for 1 night.

Beautiful spacious room. Very clean. The staff at check in were very helpful. Quick walk to the Reds stadium, easy to do with young kids too.

The property was nice and quiet. My family and I were able to walk to nearby restaurants and a bowling alley with arcade that the kids had fun at. 20 minute walk to the Reds/Cubs game. Very convenient.

Always a pleasant experience at Aloft. My family and I stay here EVERY SINGLE TIME we come to Newport/Cincy. Front desk is top notch and the staff is fantastic

Very nice, clean, convenient hotel. Location is perfect for a trip to the aquarium. You can walk to the aquarium, meals, movies, bowling and ect. I’ve stayed here 3 times. The staff is very friendly. The indoor pool is nice and clean. My only complaint is the pool water temp was a little cold for me (but I’m 65). The grandchildren didn’t mind the temp until they got out. The pool rooms’ temp was good. But each time I’ve went there it was in Feb. I will cont to stay at the Aloft.

This was Christmas gift to our three children and their spouses. They loved their weekend!

Hotel location was perfect! Room was clean, beds comfortable and bathroom was great with the vanity separated from the shower/toilet. Made getting ready easier for our family. We stayed for 3 nights and never saw housekeeping. Called down for towels and they never came. Finally went down and asked the front desk clerk. Check in process was easy, but I would suggest having the clerk be a little more informative about what the hotel has to offer, like breakfast, bar area, pool info, etc.

Hotel was refreshing! Very clean with every amenity you could imagine from a bar, to a heated pool, live music and much more. We enjoyed it so much that we plan to return again with the kids very soon! The staff was super friendly and always greeted you with a smile. Loved it!

The amenities for families is outstanding. Pool table, swimming pool, cornhole boards, connect four, outdoor seating for lounging with tables to play card games if you’d like, fitness room. The beds were comfortable but didn’t feel it was the cleanest room. The floor had not been vacuumed and there were m&m’s on the floor. The bathroom floor was sticky and had not been cleaned as there was a clump of blonde hair on the floor. The top of the desk and dresser was dusty. The mattress looked like someone had puked on it and they put a mattress protector over it with new sheets. Gross.
