I get this is at a state park and there will be critters but because the light was left on for us and we had a late arrival there were a ton of bugs at the entrance to the cottage. Bugs then came in when we entered. A few spiders present right away which the kids and I didn’t like. The place wasn’t very clean. Dog food or some chunk was in the hallway and the bathrooms could really use a good deep clean. Soap was still present in the shower by the prior visitors, The place smelled strongly like of curry.

I found this place online while looking for somewhere to stay on route for our trip so we only stayed one night. The cottage we booked online ended up being unavailable so the employees called me and were able to find us another cottage that fit our family. We really loved the location and the cottage we stayed in. The employees were very kind and easy to work with helping us find the cottage that fit our group. Would definitely go back if we are ever in the area!

I was my first time here. Unfortunately it was only one night and we got there late so we really couldn’t enjoy the property. My grandchildren did get to have fun at the playground area. We are talking about maybe doing a vacation here. We had a cottage and it was awesome.

This is a very large resort park. Lodge rooms mostly face the lake. Full size golf course and Marina and beach. There are 3 types of cabins, standard, deluxe and executive.1bedroom to 4 bedrooms can accommodate any size family or group. My husband and I stayed in a standard 1 bedroom. These are the oldest units but have been updated inside. Clean with nice towels, TV, and good queen size bed. Kitchen was small but has the basics. The staff from check in to Marina workers and maintenance crew were helpful and friendly.

The hubby and I came to town to visit my son and his family. My check in was wonderful based on personnel, but it seems their IT system could use some upgrading. The Friday night buffet was very good, breakfast was great. I especially liked the bath tub and hot water.

The cottage was roomy and comfortable. We were there to visit with family in Calvert City which was minutes away. Only issue was the proliferation of spiders and brown ladybugs. But when you are located in a wooded area that isn't occupied as much in the off season this is to be expected. Great stay and we will be back.

I always stay at Kentucky Dam Village when I am coming home to see family. Love the friendly people. Some spiderwebs and bugs in the outdoor common areas, but that is to be expected due to the lake.

This is a very clean and really nice cottage. Spacious for our family of 4. Close to the marina. Great space for us to relax after a day on the lake.
