I only went to hotel to swim, which I couldn't because they alot of family there with kids for a baseball tournament. I wasted 159 to sit in a room, which I could've done at home up the street

It’s a really nice hotel and a quiet area. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m visiting family.

Our grandchildren came to visit us while we were staying at the Hampton. They tried to swim on Sunday afternoon, July 9, at 3 pm. The water was so cold that even the adults who were with the children couldn't stay in the water but for a short time. The children were blue from the cold.

Nice place to stay. It was within 5 minutes ti my daughters home. The only change I can say they need to do is update their toilets. They were way too low to the ground, almost like child height it seemed like.

The only negative thing about this hotel was my check in. There was an older lady busy checking someone else in but there was a younger girl counting the money in her drawer, she looked up at me but never acknowledged me or greeted me or asked if I needed anything. Finally after several minutes the older lady asked me if I needed to check in, I said yes. She then asked the other girl to login in and check me in, she kept counting the change in her drawer, so the older lady had to walk away from her customer to find another girl in the back to check me in. Normally I’m pretty patient but my child (17 years old) waiting in the car had just been released after surgery and I wanted to get her in the room asap and not have her sitting in the car alone while this young lady counts change. I was paying with a card anyway so so could’ve check me in and then continued what she was doing.

The only thing I would caution is that if you have little kids or need to lock the bathroom for any reason, our barn bathroom door had no way to lock. It was fine for us, but if my kids were still little….I might not have loved that. Loved the stay though!

This was a very nice Hampton and I'd give it higher marks than usual for the very nice and clean breakfast area. Nothing exotic, but the attendant kept the food fresh, the are immaculate and we really looked forward to it every morning. Just minutes away from most things including 5 minutes form the KC Ice Center at the Sports Complex nearby on Johnson Drive. High recommendation for family stay.

The room was spacious for me and my family but it was quite dirty. The walls were filthy as well as the bathroom. The sheets did not look clean either. The beds were not very comfortable and neither were the pillows. When I checked in the person at the front desk seemed like she was in quite a hurry to get me in and and out of the way. Luckily we were only there briefly and for only one night.

Our stay was very comfortable. We were close to our family and it was close to things to do.

We had a room with two queens. The layout of the room was not well thought out. It was very cramped and difficult for a family of five to move around in. There was an impractical chair crammed in between a bed and the wall that served no purpose. The carpet had stains and had a sticky feel to it.
The pool was average. There was a hot tub that should be called a "warm" tub.
The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.
I expected more for the price then what I received at this Hampton Inn. I have had much better experience with Hampton, but am starting to see a pattern of their hotels being run down.
