I needed just 15 minutes extra to get my kids showered after swimming. 15. The woman at the front desk would not give it to me. When we left right on time, the housekeeping staff was no where near our room. They were busy working elsewhere. It would have been so easy to give me that grace. Nope. She wouldn't budge. Next time we're in Decorah, we'll be staying across the street at the Fairfield. Marriott has never turned me down for such a request.

The pool area was nice for families. There's a table near a window to the pool area. We were able to have food and watch the kids swim through the window. The staff working during our stay were amazingly friendly. The breakfast was good. Typical hotel breakfast. The make-your-own waffles are delicious.

There was some trash under the tv cabinet, and the tub was too dirty to bathe our child. We had to clean the tub ourselves.

This is a very nice, comfortable hotel, conveniently located near downtown Deborah. There are only two floors and no elevator, but get a room on the upper floor if you want it quiet. There is a little noise from the children enjoying the pool on the ground floor. But if you have children, get a room on the ground floor, the kids will love the pool. Nice breakfast area with coffee all day and the usual hotel fare in the morning, included with room.

Clean, rooms seem well maintained. Some noise from the road and kids running down the hallways at night but overall a good place to stay.

Hotel was fine. Had a bunch of kids running rampant so that was kind of a downer for our weekend plus the 6 AM Monday garbage truck and the 7 AM Harley warming up in the parking lot. The breakfast choices, both mornings were, biscuits and gravy, waffles or cereal. No choices with some protein. For what it cost on Saturday night ($200+) it was not a good value. It is what it is I guess.

The carpet felt sticky and dirty. The provided "crib" was a playpen, which was moldy and full of dirt/sand. Completely unacceptable for any child to be in. It made me question the cleanliness of the entire property.

Very clean and essential that staff moved us to a ground floor room...this was a road trip with our special needs family member and could not have happened without the ground floor room...staff was very accommodating. Breakfast excellent...very clean and safe accommodations.
