The hotel was clean enough, but there was cracked tile on the bathroom floor and the eggs served at breakfast were empty. In the 40 minutes my family was in the breakfast room, the eggs were not filed once.

Hotel was not close to full and was given room over main entrance and next to family with loud young children. Every time someone came in and out of the hotel we could hear the sliding door open. Then when they went down for breakfast and starting checking out we couldn’t sleep. Beds were fine and bathroom was clean. It’s the most annoying bathroom door, always closing shut. I’m all my stays for work, several nights a month, have I ever stayed in a hotel that the bathroom door automatically closes. I spoke to Brooke upon leaving about room noise concerns. She said why didn’t we walk to move and offered no resolution. We were exhausted and didn’t realize the amount of noise until unpacked and settled in for bed.

This Comfort Inn was a convenient location. The check in was easy and stuff at desk was friendly. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was OK. However, the pool was closed. One reason we chose this hotel. We were told Saturday after check in, a child swallowed too much water the evening before?? So the levels would be checked and maybe opened back. It did not. The exercise room was also closed. Hummm seems they are just not taking care of the amenities.

This hotel efficiently utilized its space. It had everything you need in a hotel, very family friendly. Ferdinand was quiet, relaxed, and safe. It was a easy drive to Holiday World. The breakfast was good and the waffle maker was great. My family enjoyed the stay. The game room was unique and unexpected. My boys enjoyed it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone or family staying in the area. The only problem I had was room locks are old and need an upgrade. They are electronic but the keycard would not work very well most of the time.

When we got to our room the ac was set at 76 and the beds were made but looked like they were sat on. I didn’t think anything of it until I was pulling the covers out and the comforter was wet. I smelled it and it was definitely URINE!! My family and I were were all still on our same clothes from the day and none of my kids had peed their pants! I took the cover to the front desk and I had to ask for a different room because I was not sleeping in that bed. The room they moved us to was better. It smelled clean and looked clean!

We stayed here as a recommendation from a family member who lives in the area and we were so disappointed. While check i was easy, we arrived to our room and the door had been left open and unlocked after the room had been cleaned. After entering the room, it looked like someone had rolled around on one of he beds. After bringing up our concerns to the front desk, we were told it was normal for them to leave the doors open after cleaning and we would be fine, They did offer us new pillows to accommodate for the smashed ones. I asked for a different room and we were told that there were absolutely no other rooms in the hotel available and we would have to stay in this one.
Upon arrival back to the hotel the next day, our keys had stopped working. When we went to the desk we just said the room number and they guy swiped the card and activated them. I could have said any room in the hotel as he did not check my id or ask any other questions.
There was also a broken refrigerator sitting in the hall the entire time we stayed there as well as used towels that sat for multiple days.
If you are going to holiday world, stay farther away. It may be a farther drive, but you will get better service.
Overall this was the worst experience I have had with a hotel. Expedia was also no help in resolving any of the issues we faced and the customer support person we worked with was incredibly rude. I would caution anyone from booking with expedia or Comfort Inn Ferdinand.

Staff was very friendly. The pool wasn’t open. The breakfast buffet was lacking in hot food options and what little was offered was overrun by kids. But the remainder was good. The bathroom had soap scum buildup in several areas and the blankets on the bed had several clumps of hair on it. The tv in the room was tiny. All in all a decent stay with some disappointments.
