Comfort Suites near Route 66

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was fun for my grandchildren and they loved the gym too. A nice hearty breakfast was included. However, there were ants. We were moved to another room and there were still ants. I told the receptionist and they were having a service come out to remedy the problem.

Clean place. Wonderful service. GREAT price for accommodations for a family of six. No complaints.

One of the cleaner hotels we have stayed in awhile. If they have kids staying there, be prepared to hear feet running up and down the hallways.

Everything was top notch. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and inviting. My kids had a blast in the indoor pool, and extra towels were provided. The complimentary hot breakfast exceeded my expectations with more options than I’ve ever seen from a hotel. The kids are already asking when we can stay here again.

Good hotel for the money. It was very clean but not perfectly clean. There were some industrial smells in the elevator and just a hint of smoking smell coming from somewhere in the building. The pool was nice and big which was good because there were a lot of kids in there. The room space was nice. The linens and towels were clean. The bathroom was your standard hotel bathroom and was clean. The breakfast was 4.5 stars out of 5 (eggs, sausage, make your own waffle, cereal, muffins, juice, coffee). There was plenty of eating space but the serving space was little small when the rush hit.

Great rate at a middle of the road quality facility. I have stayed here before, I will stay here again. Solid choice for business, personal, or family trips.

We spent 3 nights and felt well taken care of. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was cleaned daily as per our request. The breakfast was always fully stocked and warm. The pool was nice, clean and had towels available poolside. It is an easy 10 minute drive North to downtown Springfield. The neighborhood between the hotel and downtown is not the best but I feel this is a city problem not the hotels. The lake area to the south was very nice and the neighborhoods over by Washington park were beautiful. We also enjoyed a day at Lincoln’s New Salem which is only about 30 minutes away from the hotels nice location next to the roadways. We did not notice traffic noise, just heard regular hotel activity. The beds were nice and a 2Q suite fit our family of 4 well.

The room size was great for our family with 3 children. Location offered convenience to highway and several dining options nearby. Free breakfast earned it's title of free because it wasn't good and got put out late without a lot of urgency. It seemed to be a chore to the staff rather than a benefit of your stay that many people look for and bank on to save a few bucks and get your day off right.

We booked this hotel for a quick "out of town" trip for our young kids over spring break. They wanted to swim and we wanted somewhere that offered breakfast & was inexpensive. This was perfect. The pool was clean and warm, the room was clean and welcoming, the breakfast was great. It was just what we were looking for. The staff was also very friendly and made you feel welcomed.
