Don't like staying on first floor, couldn't sleep in the early morning do to the loud kids and first floor activities

We have stayed at the Hilton Garden in Lake Forest/Mettawa several times while visiting family and it has always been clean and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. The coffee, cookies and water in the lobby are a bonus. This time around there were many family and friends visiting and we were glad to be able to gather in the spacious and comfortable lobby to gather to chat.

Modern hotel - very clean. Comfortable bed, bed linen, furniture. Friendly staff. Selected because close to my son and his family. Decent price. Not very close to any restaurants, bars, entertainment, shopping though. Cable TV channel guide room chart, and on the television, not accurate. Shower soap bottle dispenser empty. One guest in the hotel had a barking dog in their room (barked long enough to be a pain).

Easy access from interstate. Nice clean upscale facility. We had grandkids and they loved it.

The hotel's proximity to quality food and wedding venues was awesome. Also, the rooms were always clean and the lobby area was comfy and spacious which made it a nice meeting area for the family

The room and amenities were wonderful! I also enjoyed talking to the lady at the front desk, when I checked in. Soft bed, fluffy comforter, beautiful shower, nice & quiet on my floor, too. I found out this is the same place that one of my brothers stayed, recently. And, I told another brother how nice it was & he will be staying there in the near future! As my oldest brother is in the hospital near there, several members of my family will be staying here over the next few months.

The place is very nice 😃but the customer service is horrible👎 The room was not clean, it was full of dust and the refrigerator and microwave were dirty and also the room is not cleaned every day 😒 and they won't even make your bed or throw out the trash note fill with toilet paper soap shampoo I was staying for 5 days with my children and although I asked on more than three occasions that they take me clean towels and go to give service, I never did it the first time I called Lobby and the other times I went down to the lobby in people and it was always the same He just told me if they were, and they never went. I was grabbing towels from the pool area and taking the trash out of the room because they don't provide good service.
