Too many steps to access the pool and beach. Not ideal with young kids or pregnant.

It was very nice. Not really a place for children though they are allowed. Short walk to the pools and beach. Did not like having a $900 hold placed on my card. Caused my bank to lock me out of my debit card.

Very family friendly! We loved being able to walk to beach and explore or hang out by one many different pools. Service was overall pretty great with exception of one breakfast server. Didn’t distract from a fabulous time on the property!
P.S. We loved the Ohana Lounge for our last day. After we checked out we could hang out by the pool and had a place to shower before driving to airport for a red-eye flight.

Phenomenal stay at Andaz - went for a medical conference and it was clean, quiet, spacious, friendly staff and comfortable for a family with kids of all ages

I wanted to love this property, however, it was a disappointment. The only people that were kind and hospitable were the valet. The front desk did not care about hospitality, nor decency. We booked with the andazbabymoon promo code, available on the Hyatt website for our stay. My husband called ahead to make sure they knew that was important to me a few weeks before and to confirm the room would have a tub. We booked the room specifically for that amenity and paid an additional 147$ a night for it. When we arrived they gave us a dirty run down room, the bed was a rock and it only had a shower with soap and hair all over in it. We asked them to move us rooms and they refused. We asked them to at least move us to the room we booked for and they said they were all unavailable because they were all booked or being renovated. I felt very socially profiled based on comments that were made, we are an upper middle class family, we stay in resorts regularly but this was our first Hawaii experience and it was awful at the andaz. The four seasons had more activities and dinner options as well as better hospitality for just attending their events. The concierge was rude and acted like we wasted her time by wanting to book excursions and she booked our spa visit at a time that removed the ability to take advantage of the spa amenities, the spa rectified. The island is amazing the people off of the resort were wonderful. I would never stay at the andaz again or recommend them to anyone.

Andaz was one of the best resorts I’ve stayed at. All the staff was welcoming and everything was clean and amenities were amazing! Perfect place for our babymoon.

The best place to stay in Wailea. We just had a great family trip, the resort is in amazing condition, the service and food top notch. Of course the pools and setting are incredible. Its a very expensive stay for sure. but many expensive places dont live up to their billing, this one does. We would definitely come back again.

This hotel was a TREAT!! The beds were so comfy, the views were amazing and the staff was outstanding. The amenities from the little general store decorated like Pinterest to the bars and restaurants made it for us. There is a 'late check out' room available with 3 enormous family-size shower rooms to use so you can enjoy the pool to the very last drop. There are tranquil pools for the relaxing adults and a kids area for the little ones. A large grassy area filled with fun games for the kids as well as a perfect depth pool for the young ones, yet classy enough for the parents to feel really special. WONDERFUL! We will stay here again.

Wonderful hotel. Love the pool and snorkel spot right off the beach. Love the walkway on Wailea Beach through the other hotels as well. Great for sunset. Don't think they should charge the same $$ for a hotel with an ocean view v. mountain view. It's mostly a view of the parking lot for the mountain view it seemed.
Very pricey resort fees and food and drink fees, but to be expected at a nice resort in Hawaii. They are all like that. Food was yummy though, loved the hotel and wonderful location + great for couples since there weren't too many kids around the hotel.

Our partial ocean view room was beautiful. We traveled with our 10mo and the staff was so accommodating for our family. The pack and play/crib was in our room waiting for us upon arrival. The pools and resort were very clean and staff were kind & helpful!
