I understand that Kauai and Hawaii in general are pricey, but this is simply not a $400+ accommodation. The rooms are very spacious but also outdated and plain. Very little personalized service is provided and the front desk staff consistently seemed bothered to be doing their jobs. The pool area is above average but overly crowded with kids and most of the pools end up functioning as kiddie pools. There are little to no dining options affiliated with the hotel directly.

Excellent stay. Went with a family of 6 and had an amazing time. The rooms in building 7 were clean, comfortable, and in perfect location to the pool and beach. You cannot ask for anything else from a hotel/ location. Hotel staff was attentive and were always helpful.
