La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tifton

We stopped for an overnight stay & it was clean and the kids enjoyed the pool.

Obnoxious barking dogs, children running in the halls, no water pressure, and housekeeping barging into the room without knocking.

Our stay was horrible. This was the first vacation that me and my wife had in a long time because we are workaholics. We wanted to visit family that we had not seen in a long time. We had a reserved a king size room. First, the sink did not drain properly, then the glass shower door kept popping open while we we showering. We had to mop up the floor with towels after every shower. We reported it but the maintenance guy could only fix the sink drain. They just happened to have AC workmen come in the next day after checkin to change their units. After a long hot day out we were looking forward to being inside a nice cool room. That didnt happen because the AC did not work. We were moved to a queen size room across the hall which had to beds because they said that they did not have anymore king sized rooms available.The queen size beds actually seem to be full sized beds and were too uncomfortable for my wife and I to sleep in together so we slept in separate beds. The next morning we went down and asked to speak to the manager. We stated that our vacation had been ruined because of all of the problems that we were experiencing there. The AC in the king sized room was repaired and we requested to be moved back there. She apologized said that she would comp our room for that night. The staff was nice but I would not stay there again when visiting. If we had been visiting longer, we would have changed hotels.

The lobby and rooms are fresh, clean, stylish, and new. Comfy, cushy beds. Love the place. But alas, breakfast did not meet that standard. And I could hear the people walking in the room above me. Perhaps a child jumping? However, I would stay there again.

So we wondered why the bathroom door was colsed when we entered our room after our 16 hour drive with cats. As soon as I opened the bathroom door the question of "why is this door closed?" was answered. There was an overwhelming smell of urine as soon as I opened the door. I guess they figured since we had cats we didn't mind the smell of piss. But, thats only for poor pet owners. My home NEVER smells like that. People are routinly shocked when i tell them I have cats at home. The piss smell was NOT cats tho. A human had pissed all over the floor, toliet, tub. Front desk wouldn't give us a different room. Instead they handed us a bottle of what they told us was disinfectant. It was air freshener. Not sanitizer. They said they couldn't provide us with real cleaner. The bed did not have clean covers. Or sheets. It smelled like poop and pee. We had to buy covers to try to sleep on top of. Our feet stuck to the disgusting carpet. Nasty. Really didn’t sleep at all. Hotel didn’t care, we were treated like garbage. NEVER EVER EVER WILL WE EVER STAY AT A LA QUINTA AGAIN!!!!!!! EVER. Holiday Inn is magnificent and dosen't put us in garbage rooms because my babies have fur. Seriously skip this poop hole if you want happy vacay vibes on your way to your beautiful destination.

Very friendly staff that were accommodating to my children and dog. The breakfast bar was great.

We loved how clean and big our room was. Will definitely stay at Laquintas and refer to family and friends. Very happy.

This hotel was very nice. Easy check in... clean room. there were what sounded like little kids running above us most of the night, but otherwise it was fine. The breakfast was generic for hotel breakfast. Would stay here again.

We like the ease and convenience of this location. But we love that they welcome our furry family members too!
