Comfort Suites Kings Bay Naval Base Area

Staff was super friendly (every single person from cleaning staff, check- in, etc). They could not have been more helpful and just friendly, going out of their way to speak not only to us but our kids each time we entered or left the building. Although they got slammed and had no more vacancy a couple of nights due to a hurricane, their service to current customers already there never slacked. Definitely would stay here again.

Staff was nice at check in and check out. Breakfast was OK. Lobby looks pretty. Here comes the nightmare. The beds were terrible. Very uncomfortable, mattress were bended and very old. Couldn’t move without sounding like the bed was going to fall off. The kids couldn’t sleep on the sofa bed with all the springs hurting. The room and bathroom had a terrible smell between dirty clothes, sweat, feet. It’s hard to describe and it was hard to breathe. A/C was on 69-70 and the room was still hot. None of us could rest and that was the point of the stay. And to add to the disappointment the pool was closed too.

Great property! Staff was amazing. The pool was down for maintenance which was a bummer because the kids were excited about swimming. We would definitely stay again.

Room was very spacious. Air conditioner was already set low to cool the room down. There was also a humidifier on in the room. Water in the shower was hot. Bed was clean, soft, and had the extra pillows I had requested. Deepak checked me in. He was very friendly and informative. I was suprised at the goodie bag (bottle of water, crackers, piece of candy and bag of chips) and free snacks (cookies, popcorn, and nachos) avaliable in the lobby! He was also very tentative to another set of guests that were trying to load their things from their vehicle that had 2 small children that were fussy and running around. Deepak gave them food to feed the ducks in the pond outside. The parents were appreciative and it occupied the kids long enough for them to finish getting their belongings together. Felicia was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and could give advice on local things to do. She too was very tentative with those same 2 kids the next morning during breakfast. Great property in this aspects. Only 2 downfalls were that I found a used towel from a previous guest hanging on the back of the bathroom door and there was someone else's hair on the floor in the bathroom beside the toilet. There was what looked like rust above the bathroom door and on the jam. Would stay here again in the future if needed.

In town for Naval ceremony. The staff was extremely welcoming. Pleased with the spacious room and bathroom. Nice indoor pool for kids to enjoy in the middle of winter. Good hearty breakfast. Would recommend and would return if back in the area.

I liked that the property was central to the gas stations, food, and other hotels. This one had a beautiful view of the lake with ducks and geese on it. It was a good stop near 95. I felt safe traveling with small children. The room was comfortable though interiorly could use some updating. The staff was friendly.

The GM is going to do her worst in her response back for this review lol. We stayed here for 5 nights. The morning of check out we discovered a bed bug crawling on the bed our daughters were sleeping in. I took it to the front desk and requested a refund. I was told I'd have to go through expedia to get it. Two hours after leaving, we were charged $250 for a pet fee. When I called to discuss this with the assistant manager minion she became irritable because I told her our pets were at home with our pet sitter and I had proof. Apparently there was dog hair on the sheets that we slept on. When I asked why we were paying 250 for sheets to be washed since they were to be washed anyways since we had slept on them, she told me i would need to speak to the GM. Hours later the GM calls me stating she had refunded the 250 and apologized for her minion. I came home and contacted expedia for the refund. Apparently the GM has to apporve the refund. She stated the bed bug that I had found was a tick. The bites all over my 3 children and myself state otherwise!!! We disputed the charges with our bank and provided the pictures of the bed bugs. We were refunded but this hotel was not worth all of this trouble. Indoor pool was nice, but you couldn't pay me to stay here again!! Have the day you deserve Ms. Jeanine.

We came just for a night on our way to Florida. Everything was great. The only thing was the fire alarm thay turned on early morning. My kids wake up crying and scared...

The place was clean. The pool area is very small but it worked to run the kids for an hour after a long day of driving.
