La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dublin

Extremely disappointed with the fact that the pool was closed. The room was quite a bit more than others I looked at elsewhere but I wanted the kids to be able to swim. I wish they would let you know either by phone or email that certain things would be unavailable to stay because I would have cancelled the booking.

For starters they called me 4 times while I was at work to insure I was still coming. Well one my reservation was not canceled, so obviously I was coming. When I first booked, they called and confirmed, I told them at that time I would check in late, Im a doctor I have to finish my shift I just cant leave. The day of check in is when they called back to back, I told them im at work please dont call anymore,im still coming. Then they said i had to pay now, instead of at arrival which it confirmed when I booked Im suppose to pay at arrival, so I paid so they would stop blowing up my phone. Ok I arrived that night me and my family. The guy tell me my card is decling, he trying to take the payment out I showed him on my transaction log they already took it out $659.03. He continues to try and run my cards stating oh thats just a hold. No it wasn't I paid earlier.. its 12:27 am we waited 30min after a long car ride until he called his manager.They finally checked us in. Ok day two we asked the house keeper to remove the trash and more bath towels. We left the room but my brother was still in the room.When she knocked on the door he responded we dont need anything sweetie. She said ok and left, keep in my we just told her as we were getting on the elevator we told her the room number.Now my brother wasn't aware,she could have said she spoke with us. But thats ok. The problem is she lied and said my brother was real mean and yelled at her. TBC

The Stay was very Pleasant and the family and I were very pleased

With the exception of one young lady working the front desk when I arrived, this was by far the most unpleasant stay I have ever had in my life. This property was an absolute disaster! There was a kids baseball tournament in town, and these kids ran the halls, screaming, slamming doors, until after 1 am! I called front desk and the man working there told me that “they can’t tell guests how to behave”. What the heck??? The “adults”, and I use that term loosely, took the entire lobby and lounge over until the wee hours of the morning and allowed their children to run, scream, jump and play in the entrance way and lobby, hindering any other guests from entering and leaving safely. Are you kidding me? In the morning I couldn’t even get close to the “free breakfast”. They literally consumed everything except the chairs. No other guests could eat. The next day I left the property all day hoping for a better second evening but returned to what sounded like 5 horses in the room above mine, the smell of marijuana permeating from the room next to me, along with constant slamming doors, loud conversations, and what sounds like 4 or 5 kids banging on the walls. I just can’t. Add to that what appears to be blood on the bathroom wall, a toilet that didn’t ever completely flush, an unpainted and what appears to be a mildewed wall above the ac unit. THIS is not acceptable on any level. Trust me when I say..STAY somewhere else where there is actually management that manages the property.

Everything was great. Breakfast was very good and lots of choices. The woman in charge was very nice and attentive. Safe area with many eating places within walking distance. We stay here every time when we visit our great grand baby.

Baseball kids and parents up and down the hallways yelling till almost midnight lady at front desk said I don’t know what you want me to do we don’t have a quiet time. She ripped a piece of paper off and said write it down and I will give it to the manager. Two nights in a row. It was almost $900 for 5 days when I moved out they just said I’m sorry you don’t like it here. No effort to try and make it right.

Travelball tournament in Dublin lots of kids running around late at night unsupervised no fault of the hotel. They hotel staff handled the noise promptly.

The pool was not heated at all when me and my family went swimming. The hot tub was working just fine.

I booked the hotel room for the pool access. My kids got 30 minutes in the pool because people from the adjacent hotel were in the pool. This stay was really a waste of my money. I'm highly dissatisfied.
