Holiday Inn Express & Suites Douglas, an IHG Hotel

We were in town to host a baby shower for my niece and nephew.

Staff was helpful, but we had no water pressure, tub would not drain, and no hot water to shower all weekend. When we asked the front desk they said they could not do anything about it as it was being fixed and they’d have their manager contact us. Waiting to hear from them as our family was there for a baseball tournament and not able to shower most of our stay.

The staff was friendly and willing to help. There were sanitizing stations throughout the hotel. The room was pet and smoke free. I wasn’t given a receipt during checkout because I booked through a third party. I wanted a receipt for my records showing my checkout time and amount of my stay. The buffet options were less than previous Holiday Inn Express visits but there were signs posted stating the reason for the shortages. My family and I wore masks. When the staff member entered our room to check the AC, it would have been nice if she could have worn a mask when entering our room. We put on our masks instead while she was inside our space.
