Rented a room for the night to get away. Was looking forward to getting some quality sleep since our kids were with family. Woke up every other minute to the door to the stairwell slamming. Very unrestful. Super bummed we couldn’t sleep.

My family and I have been staying here for 6years and we have watched the service and condition of this hotel go down hill. The elevators don’t work properly and the phone never work in the rooms. And this time room service wouldn’t answer the phone on speaker phone which was the only way to make it work and when we got our VERY EXPENSIVE breakfast it was cold and they forgot half of it. IT NEEDS A NEW MANAGER AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY

I was here for a quick weekend getaway for my daughter’s birthday and I must say I was very impressed the hotel is so nice and love the decor. I will be staying here again and will recommend to family and friends!!

We loved this hotel! We were visiting family in the area for Christmas and there was a wonderful mood everywhere. There was a nice big fireplace downstairs with comfortable furnishings downstairs where everybody gathered to have coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Part of the hotel's restaurant opened to the gathering area which added to the "bustling" vibe. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. The hotel is also dog friendly which was a plus for us. Conveniently located at Avalon, there is plenty to keep you busy during your stay. We look forward to returning in the future!
