It was amazing top tier , very friendly staff , best part was the rooftop pool with a bar so after the beach I didn’t have to leave Me and my family had a great time, only complaint is the elevator was extremely slow and no access to stairs , but very close

We recently stayed at the Cambria for my daughter’s softball tournament. The staff ensured we had a great time. They have a gold coin treasure hunt everyday in the lobby and if the kids find 5 coins they get a toy from the treasure box. This kept my kids so entertained finding and hiding the coins. The rooftop pool and bar was especially nice to watch the sunset. The 2 minute walk across the street to the beach was easy and the snack shack was a great place to get a bite to eat while at the beach. The facilities were very clean. I would highly recommend,

I have come to the Cambria every year at least twice for vacation and this time it was just terrible. They are still on COVID times of not cleaning rooms daily. You have to request it. I requested it 4 times in order to have my room finally cleaned. Twice in person and twice via text. They didn’t seem apologetic or care at all. The staff at breakfast is rude and inefficient; slow and forgets anything you tell them. I expressed how unhappy I was twice over text when they checked up and they didn’t even bother to text back! Meanwhile it’s mother’s day weekend and we’re traveling with a baby and we can’t even get new fresh towels. Next time we will go to the courtyard Marriott right behind them! Just as convenient and for sure has daily housekeeping.

In for a family reunion last weekend, the Cambria location was ideal for us and the hotel is beautiful, only 3-4 years old so very upscale chic with nice appointments in the rooms and public areas.
Unfortunately they cheaped out on the most important aspect IMHO: noise suppression, cancellation, reduction. From the conversations I could follow between guests in the room next door and the footsteps of children running and playing upstairs I'd guess there was little if any insulation meeting standard hotel guidelines. I have never been able to actually understand the words and basically eavesdrop on neighboring guests from my hotel room.
Located where several intersections meet at various corners, the traffic noise is not insignificant, either. The hotel is within walking distance of shopping (Winn Dixie & CVS), restaurants (Saltwater Hippie, Frabotta's Pizza and others) and its about 4 blocks to the beach.
On a weekend night, Don The Beachcomber, the restaurant on the street level of Cambria gets pretty busy which, at least when we were there totally put their kitchen in the weeds and turning out food that would't even be considered marginal. It's an oasis compared to the crowds that flood the streets 1/2 a block up at Saltwater Hippie creating noise and traffic hazards.
Bring good earplugs (airplane versions were't effective) or noise cancelling earbuds, or earphones if you value sleeping or just want to avoid the frustration of trying to sleep amid chaos.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was fantastic.
Best stuff: comfortable beds, nice balcony, pool and bar are awesome, staff was outstanding, location is awesome.
Weird little stuff that might matter:
- it's not a quiet hotel. You can hear a lot through the walls and there are a lot of kids.
- the pool area is clearly not policed at all. Lots of randos who are not guests. Which was fine with us.
- the design of the furniture was... not super functional. Tough to explain but it's all little things like the fact that the towel hooks are not near the shower and the drawers are tiny.
- the noise that the elevator makes at each floor is that of a piercing shriek from the angered core of a vengeful banshee. It's beyond loud and unpleasant and shakes the cockles of your very soul. There is no reason for any elevator to be set to make that noise, so I assume it is haunted or funded by a DARPA initiative for enhanced interrogation. Fortunately there's only 5 floors.
Really loved it, that elevator thing aside. And that's just me.

Property walking distance to the beach. Also has a great view of the water on the open patio and balconies. Entire hotel very clean. I had a strange experience where our room was assigned to another guest. They entered our room which was quite inconvenient and scary. Madison at the front desk gave us a free breakfast for our troubles. A few times the water wasn’t getting really hot, more like like warm. And the bed and sheets were very clean and sterile feeling but not a comfortable sleep. We travelled with an infant and I was curious about the babysitting services offered on the website. After inquiring with the staff, no one seemed to know anything about it. Overall, it was a pleasurable stay. Not perfect but would stay again for sure.

Our stay at the Cambria was nothing short of fantastic!
We checked in on 4th of July and stayed 4 nights.
First night we got to watch fireworks and hang at the rooftop pool. The view, wow ! The bar around the pool area was incredible! All the bartenders we encountered were awesome.
Couple downfalls about the pool area, the pool was very shallow, and the bottom of the pool was very rough. Both my daughter and I got cuts on our toes and my big toe got a huge chip taken out of it! Besides that the whole feel up on the rooftop area was relaxing. It was a salt water pool and towels were provided.
Next, the food!!!! Everything we tried at Prime Waters dining on the Lobby floor was delicious! They also served small plates up at the rooftop bar. The Ahi Tuna was my absolute fave! A bit pricey but I will tell you everything was worth the price!
We ate breakfast daily, all the servers at Prime Waters were very knowledgeable and personable, Heidi was the best. I never ate a bad thing or had poor service ever during our stay.
Short walk to the beach!
The Valet parking was AWESOME! Mandatory 25$/day but so worth it! They give you a QR code to scan when you are leaving your hotel room and by the time you get downstairs you car is already ready. Such a lifesaver with 2 kids.
Rooms were great, stand up shower in most rooms so we brought our portable tub for the baby. Took a very long time for water to heat up, never got hot just lukewarm. Bed and pillows were awesome! Will return!
