Stay here every time I come to the gulf coast to visit family, quiet relaxing, spacious enough for friends to visit us.

After a long , hot day at Weekie Watchie we arrived at our hotel, we were welcomed with a friendly greeting from Walter who also offered us some great dinner and beach recommendations. Our room was very spacious for the 5 of us , breakfast was great, our grandbabies enjoyed the pool.

Paid to be inconvenienced and annoyed. It literally took HOURS to get checked in. Rooms were still being cleaned at 6-7 pm at night. Couch in room had dried mess on it, dog hair and grass. Told it was a pet friendly hotel guess that means expect pet messes when you don't have a pet in your room. Front desk staff and housekeeping had a heated discussion about cleaning the couch. Housekeeping went up didn't tell me what chemical she sprayed on the spots my kids were expected to sleep on that night. Didn't vacuum the couch but it was better to the eyes after it wiped off. Apparently they don't have a steam cleaner or any other items on hand that can sanitize upholstery... After we got back and I put my dirt covered toddler in the shower noticed straight black hairs floating towards the drain so the tub wasn't cleaned iether. Poperty isn't maintained well. Our window was covered in green mold on the outside during the 4th of July celebration so property managers aren't keeping up with bldg maintenance. Elevators are sketchy one is broken the other is moving at a snails pace banging sounds Wich the entire hotel trying to use it. Hallways weren't vacuumed. Breakfast area didn't have enough tables to acomidate everyone. Hotel check out staff do not know how to print a final receipt when you have booked through hotels . Com we have stayed at other IGH locations and gotten one showing check in check out and amount held etc without any problems.

Near family wake. Did not like only one elevator worked. The hot water did not work in the sink in my room. The decaf coffee in breakfast room the first day was like water, weak, the next day the same thing so I complained and they made another pot and it was good. The pancake maker made pancakes that were raw on the edges.

VERY Happy about my stay!! Definite IMPROVEMENT, from the last place, my family & I had to stay while our place was tented⛺️!! 🙃

Hotel was great for families. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Only things I would complain about, elevator had issues and our room door locked us in the room. It took a good 20 minutes to get out of room one morning due to door.

Overall, office/check-in staff very attentive and accommodating. Breakfast meals done well and plentiful of choices.
As to the negatives: Height of bed not acceptable as partner had difficulty getting into and out of bed. Had to request a step stool, which was provided, but still somewhat difficult maneuvering. Used towels not replaced by maid service; made request to the individual doing the room, she acknowledged but never returned with the towels; lack of bar soap; in-room phone did not work; when calling the front desk had to use personal phone, but number was never answered, so had to physically go from room to front desk with complaint (however, person on duty was gracious and tried to resolve the situation, which she did as the TV set also did not operate). These incidents negatively impacted our visit, which was difficult anyway since we were there to visit a family member who was at Largo Medical Center, critically ill.
