Comfort Suites The Villages

There was no one at the desk when we arrived and no sign. We had to wait over 30 minutes for a person to come check us in. No apology, no explanation. That was disappointing given we had two very tired kids. Other than that, nice hotel, clean, and comfortable.

I don’t know if hotel was short on employees but…. My stay was for four nights and I put the do not disturb tag on door the first couple of days. When I took the sign down I expected the room to be cleaned. However I saw only one person working on the floor and I never saw her on my end of hall. Needless to say the room had not been touched that day. I put the sign back up so my room was not cleaned during my stay. Also one evening the man at the front desk was on the his cell phone with a family member for about an hour and a half straight. I was out to my car and down to get a coffee several times during this period and I observed him on the phone apparently speaking to that family member. Overall good but could definitely use improvement.

While visiting our parents, we stayed here for convenience. We decided to be baptized & they allowed us to use the pool. Our family was able to attend making for a wonderful memory. The staff was extremely pleasant & Renee kept our room beautiful every day. 5star!

Receptionist was very helpful to the needs of our family stay with our dogs.

The room was amazing. Super comfy beds and very clean. Spacious with a couch and sitting area. Convenient full breakfast served in the mornings. Fresh food and delicious. I always stay at this hotel if im in central Florida. They treat you like family from check in to check out.

This is our go to hotel of choice when we go to Lady Lake to visit our Daughter and Son-in-law. We have stayed here on multiple occasions and planning a stay in late September for the birth of our second grandchild. Dennis checked us in and was very friendly and commendating by setting up the second room, that wasn’t going to be occupied til the second night of our stay next door to our room for my Mom,Dad and Sister. Everything went smoothly with that check in also.

The gentleman at the front desk was awesome. A+ service all around. However after check in we went to grab dinner in the area and upon return the carpet in the room was soaking wet. I’m talked drenched. Which caused some of our bags and items to get wet. Not just one spot on the carpet but it extended from wall to wall. Likely from a leak that wasn’t repaired. We were given a new room right away but still a hassle to move everything after a long day of travel with two kids and some wet stuff.

The continental breakfast was excellent. Lots of options for someone who enjoys variety every day. Cleaning crew & kitchen staff were amazing! Hard working, helpful, approachable and so so lovely people. They all deserve a pay raise. :) Greeting staff at check in were okay. Mainly the night staff seemed a bit tired and like they would rather be elsewhere. I did miss having room service to make up the bed, take out the trash every day and clean the bathroom daily. But that's the protocol of today's covid era. No sweat. Bathroom had an issue that would become problematic with time. The shower curtain was cloth and soaked up all the water in addition to water spilling outside the tub, which then gathered around the corners potentially causing water damage to the floor, tiles and ceiling for the room below. Hopefully they fix that soon! I was staying in Room 311 btw. Hopefully they see this review and fix that issue asap. Other than that, I will be choosing to stay at Comfort suites in Lady Lake upon my return visit to family. Next time, I'd love to walk around to see the shopping and restaurants near by. It'll hopefully make it in the Fall or Spring when the weather admits being outside without AC. haha.
