Fairfield Inn & Suites Jacksonville Airport

Room was great. Breakfast area had games out in the evening which was great to entertain the kids. Overall great experience

The room was very nice! My king size bed was clean, bug free and sooooo comfortable ..we slept like babies and woke refreshed!

No stopper in tub and I was traveling with small child who doesn’t take showers!! Light bulb out in light next to bed. Lamp shade missing. I feel as though I got the worst room on the property.

We booked a one night stay in Jacksonville Fl area to break up our family of 4 ten hour trip. We arrived at 2am extremely tired, sore, and sleepy. The clerk who checked us in was very nice. We opened the door to room 324 and the bad odor was offensive. It smelled musty. We all wanted to leave, but there was a sign on the door when we arrived that rooms were sold out and we were too exhausted to try to find something else. Our money was also non-refundable. Our two girls aged 15 walked over to the bed near the window and air condition unit and the carpet beneath the air conditioner on the far side of the bed was wet. I assume it is an air conditioner leak. We all felt our throats and noses burning and we coughed. The unit was not running when we first went inside so we turned it on as it was very stuffy and smelly in the room. We were so disappointed and upset. We rented the room due to the "Wonderful " rating. Extremely unhappy. We got up and left before nine am just to get out of the room.

Noise: Three teenagers staying in the adjacent room making a lot of noise from 23:00 through 00:30. Front desk clerk went to the door a few times after my multiple calls and then the kids put the "do not disturb" sign on the door so front desk was no longer allowed to knock, only call. They ignored calls. I suggested twice that they get the parents involved, who were in a nearby room. The kids continued their noise and added door opening and slamming for nearly 5 minutes. It stopped after the last plea to the front desk to get the parents involved. I also put the AC fan to ON to down out the noise. Cleanliness: The toilet had a science experiment growing in it. The type that takes about three weeks to a month to grow. Fire hazard/Safety: Outlet behind my bed was pushed into the wall and both plugs plugged in were bent down with roughly 75% of the prongs accessible. Bad for risk of electrical fire and child safety. Cable service for TV was not-in-service for my room. The fixed curtain had been pulled down, hanging down on one end.
