Hampton Inn Orlando-Maingate South

It was what I was looking for. I wanted a bargain hotel that would be cost effective as I knew the family would be spending most of the time in the parks. Had numerous dining options around as well as a shopping center a few miles down the road. Easy access to interstate. Had free breakfast option for a quick breakfast, but was also nestled behind a Dennys and Burger for quick walking options. Staff was nice and efficient and rooms were clean. As I said it was a bargain stay, so I rated it as such.

The hotel itself was clean and well located however I was on the 1st floor and that was a disaster. Between the screaming kids at 6am and barking dog I had a horrible night sleep. Thats not hotels fault but just had to mention steer away from room near the front desk and elevators

It was a great experience staying at this Hampton Inn in Orlando. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the awesome fitness center. I think that this is a hidden jewel worth investing into by the owners. The only thing that may help if it had a new and lighter coat of paint on the whole exterior then it may shine even more brighter than it already is at the moment. I look forward to staying here again when I visit my family in Davenport.

We had a fantastic stay for three nights while visiting Disneyland and Universal Studio. My children enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and cleaning services.

I liked that the property was clean, for the most part. The front desk staff was rude. At one point I called for an iron, because ours didn’t work.. I never received it. Housekeeping came to clean our room two hours before check out. Breakfast was mediocre. They come and clean your room every fourth day.. for us it was the third. I would have secured my valuables if I had known. There was a motion sensor beside the door we had to cover because it cut the light on as soon as it detected motion and it was bright. We have a two year old so that was not acceptable. The beds were uncomfortable, like sleeping on a brick lined with cotton. My husband said he could feel every spring. Upon check in, giving my card for damages, I asked the lady what it was for and she responded very flippant with the same explanation “damages?” The lady working the kitchen was very sweet and so were the housekeeping ladies themselves. I was irritated I got the door right next to the elevator but the noise was not terrible. The outside was well kept. I did get myself wet parking right next to the curb while they were watering plants as I was trying to get my child out of the car. The surrounding areas are sketchy. The Burger King and Dennys are right in front and there’s a empty lot right next to the hotel that may or may not be a working motel. Also, my room was an apparent “joining room” which made me a little nervous with a 2 year old. Overall, I’d rate my experience as a 4 out of 10.

The staff member at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. My family of 10 arrived late after a long day of plane delays and issues. She was so friendly and accommodating!!! Couldn't have been better.

Clean! Room was spacious enough for hubby and I. Our room over look the pool that appeared clean. There was a FULL breakfast, my family was very excited about that. The coffee was delicious too. Plenty of parking.
