We have stayed in quite a bit of Holiday Inn’s and never had an issue with the thermostat. Room wouldn’t cool below 76. Staff told us we could move, but it would be to two separate rooms which wasn’t an option with having 4 kids. We stuck it out to get through the night and neither my wife nor I could sleep. It got warmer.

Was in town for a family emergency and booked a stay close to hospital. Was encouraged, as it was 9/10 on reviews. This room was terrible. It was dirty, and very dated (base boards coming away from wall, carpet damp/musty, crushed roach on bathroom floor). Would not recommend at all.

On 12/1/23 my family checked in to an iHG Holiday Inn in Crestview, Fl
The front desk person did not greet us or say Hi. She only stated I need your id. They gave us room 209. Went up to 209. Room smelled like urine and the floors were all sticky.
Went back downstairs and the front desk staff
made a big deal about needing to switch the room due to me booking third party. The house keeper was there and she stated that 209 was the last room to be cleaned and that the previous guest left it a mess. She switched us to a king suite 211. I originally was booked for a 2 bed queen suite. Thus loosing a bed. Next, she walked us up to room 215 to get roll a way bed. I had to roll it back to the room. My husband had to go back down to get extra pillows and towels. Again, met with hostility. The indoor pool was very cloudy and dirty looking, so my husband used the hot tub. The next morning 12/2/23 while exiting the hotel, we passed a front desk person who was screaming at the housekeeper that we met on 12/1/23. It was also noted during breakfast the hotel had not emptied their community bathroom trash and it was overflowing onto the floor. You might want to check out the dirty curtain hanging in the dining hall too where all the breakfast guests eat. On 12/2/23 my son saw a cockroach by the thermostat and took a picture so that we could show staff upon checkout. Upon checkout, the same lady that was berating housekeeping, told us because we booked third party there was nothing

This is my favorite place to stop when I am going to visit my family in St. Pete, Fl. The staff are friendly and helpful as well if there is anything you need. I feel welcomed and very safe there and this is important to a me while I travel alone.

The property was excellent. The staff was professional and courteous. The room was well kept and modern. The breakfast are was clean and well stocked. The staff recommended an excellent restraunt nearby and was more than willing to accommodate our large family.

The guy checking us in was all business no welcoming attitude. Breakfast was disappointing. All the bagels were flavored, no plain. I went and bought my own. 2 slice toaster very inadequate. 4 slice needed. No waffles, replaced with pancakes that were very thin and rubbery. Good choice of muffins. After our 5 day stay as we were getting ready to check out, there were no carts available. Too big of hotel to only have 3 carts. Other 4 story hotels had 6 carts. 1 cart in breakfast area with cooler on it so not available. 1 cart loaded with family stuff while kids played in business area and then they ate breakfast. He hogged that cart for well over an hour. Who knows where 3rd cart was. Many complaints to front desk. There were a lot of elderly people checking out and needed these carts. We are 74 and others were older and we all had to make multiple trips to our vehicles to check out. For this reason only, we would never stay here again. The one elderly couple who was well in their 80's had been there for a week. I doubt they will ever be back. I think the front desk 3 people at front desk could have looked around and at least asked the cart hog to take his stuff to his car and let others use it. When we were leaving cooler was not on cart in breakfast area but the cart was not brought out to be used. The other ladies at check in area were all friendly and helpful. They should train that guy to be as nice.

Check in was not the best experience. I booked the hotel in my name and sent my husband in with my ID and card to check us in while I got our kids things. I met him at the front desk while finishing up checking in, enough to for the lady at the front desk to look at me and opportunity to verify my identity via drivers license she still had but she didn’t. That same lady called our room about 20 minutes later telling me I needed to go downstairs to verify my identity. I said okay, brought up the fact I was down there when husband got keys and she looked at right me, and told her I just gave my kids bath and needed to get them dressed but would come down after that. She proceeded to tell me she needed me down there asap. I told my husband about it and as he was coming back to the hotel and asked the lady about it, also brought up the fact I was there at the end, and got a attitude with him asking him if she was busy and he said…. Yes…busy checking us in. Otherwise the beds were comfortable.
